It’s hard to get one shutout, never mind three in a row, so I was very fortunate there. I’ve had quite a few bounces over the last couple games, and obviously the defense and PK and D-zone play has been great over the last couple games. It’s made my job a lot easier.
Obviously I feel good, but we’ve got guys battling in all areas of the rink, especially in the D zone, where they’re battling along the wall and in front of the net, clearing out rebounds. They’re doing their jobs extremely well right now, and it’s making my job that much easier.
It’s great. It is a great feeling. I’ve never been a guy to look at numbers, shutouts, save percentage, that kind of thing. Obviously it’s good to have good numbers, but you’re judged by if you win or lose. That’s always what is most important to me and what is most important to this team. It’s just great to get the win. To get it in that fashion, it’s just the icing on top."

We had tried to set that up all game, and usually they’re scrambled plays, but fortunately that one was a clean play and a great play by everyone, really."

He allows guys to play their game without a lot of fear. You never want to turn over pucks as a D-man, but at the same time, it’s always nice knowing he’s back there. You’ve got an ace in hole."

He’s focused, he’s dialed in to the play and aggressive to the shots, and I thought tonight he was again on his game. He just followed up his game in Phoenix, where he probably playing as good as he has all year and brought the same game here tonight. Concentration. I think his mechanics, his technique, his style is in place. He’s a goaltender who is instinctive. He reacts to the play. But he does have a good foundation. To me, sometimes playing a lot of games, you lose your concentration for a short period of time sometimes. Right now, he’s dialed in."

LET'S GO KINGS !!!

- UPCOMING SCHEDULE -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Great GDT as always PuckU, thanks a bunch for the effort, it is greatly appreciated.

Kings offense better start firing again or we will lose. I say we lose 2-1 if the offense plays like it did at times in Phoenix and Dallas. If we get one early and are clicking, and if Hedberg is off at all, we win 5-1.

the offence generated a lot of chances vs Dallas. 5 or 6 clean shots from the slot from the likes of Gagne, Richardson, Stoll, all of which were shot wide. A Partial breakaway for Williams, the tip play from Brown to Penner which went through Raycrofts legs but somehow went wide

Yep, agreed. But chances aren't goals and if they perform the same in NJ, we won't be as fortunate as we were in Dallas.

Nice to see at least one team in the league has worse RW depth than the Jets. And no wonder Tedenby is doing nothing in my pool Henrique and Clarkson?

Kings should and need to dominate this game. I know Hedberg has been hot and he is very very good when he is on, but this is one the Kings should be getting 2 points out of. Not a "must-win" or anything obviously, but winning games like this is the difference between last year and the 100+ point division win I envision them having this season.

And at least one of these teams will begin to win the occasional faceoff? (48.7%vs48.6% )

Nice GDT. Basically hoping for no injuries in this one. If you guys are gonna win, just make sure Kopitar scores every goal, OK?
