The Jackets are entering the Twilight Zone… the best of that last goal was Mason saving a goal 30 seconds later, the boy is all over the crease tonight.. doing well with rebounds also. Good to see.

So glad our lead and "feelgood" wasn't broken in the usual fashion

Amazing how much decent defense and solid goaltending changes the game!

Exactly what I was thinking. It's as if someone flipped the 'ON' switch for him and Johan. I gotta catch the post game interview to see what caused tonight's dramatic surge for the two.

Yep! As I've said before, offense starts from the back and moves forward. We're seeing QUALITY shots on goal, not just a large QUANTITY.

Isn't the old adage something like you build a hockey team from the back out to the front? Start with solid goaltending and defense and work forward. Seems to me that the old truisms are still valid even in the new NHL. You have solid goaltending and defense you give yourself a chance to win every night

Another good shift from the combo of Dorsett - Mayorov. They've had their chances this evening.

We continue to play hard after a lead. Very welcome change.
Have to carry it for 20 more minutes though.

Yeah, that's certainly not something I can take credit for.

Remember who we are playing, the Wings, they don't get called for obstruction and they don't get called for goalie interference either (note the no sarcasm)

Detroit scrambling all over the front of the net. Look like us during the 1st 8 games.

Johans switch was flipped on starting last game when he actually played more than 8 minutes per game. But Moore looks good, for sure. Clitsome, needs to see the bench when Methot comes back.
