Lundqvist seems to care about the team, and Gabby was trying too, no third choice for me.

You ain't gonna win averaging 6.33 shots a period though.

The best thing about this game was Henrik only leaving for a cramp.

It's like nothing changed. For all the offseason drama, we still just have a team that can't score.

Get Erik Christensen off this damn team. Don't send him to the Whale, SEND HIM TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT LINE.

And stop with this doghouse stuff, Torts! Good Lord. I feel like one of these games we're going to play one line the entire game.

Team should be well rested for Monday. It seems they flew in early because they sure the hell weren't in Edmonton.

Positives - Gaborik looks great out there, engaged on every play, and he has his speed back. He looks awesome. Also, Hank's okay which is great news.

Negatives - Everything else.

What did Anisimov do to deserve benching? Did he take a penalty with .7 seconds left? No. Never been a Torts basher, but he gave up on his players wayyyy to early in this one. Over coached it for sure, one of his classic outsmarting himself moments there. God this team is frustrating.

Anisimov, Dubinsky and Callahan have GOT to get going. They look horrendous. I think them not producing is really hurting this team.

Holy hell you people need to calm down. The Oilers were the better team tonight and not because they have more skill. What that looked like was what we used to do to opponents on good nights in the Jagr years (and go figure, Renney is their coach). Khabibulin played great, but the Oilers team D was absolutely outstanding tonight. A game like that doesn't worry me. We are now 2-1 on our western Canadian road trip. What'd you expect? To win all 4?

Of the many, many things that irritated me about this game, none of them is as annoying as how often shooters just missed the net. I'd rather them Gomez it at the guys chest than miss all the time.

Don't know where to start. **** torts. **** the pack line. **** Christensen. Boyle was ****. Rupp's starting to piss me off. Dubi...you get your money than quit? Wake the **** up. Richards has his worst game as a Ranger. Bring back Avery.

Amazing we only lost 2-0. God bless Hank. Giving props to Gaborik, was all over the ice tonight.

Let's just put this game behind us, and get at it again on Monday. Should beat Winnipeg.

Worst game I have seen in a long time.

What an absolutely pathetic performance.

The only reason this team has 2 wins is because of Gaborik, Hank, McDonagh, and Girardi.

Callahan, Dubinsky, Anisimov, Stepan, our defense, the bottom two lines are all garbage.

They need to get their act together and try to be a little creative in the offensive zone.

What a joke of a performance.

Voted Gabby, Prust and Hank.

Gabby was dangerous but couldn't pot one unfortunately.

Prust had his feet moving all night and was strong on the forecheck.

Hank destroyed that bathroom.

Lundqvist
Gaborik
Girardi?

Horrible.

Torts, who I've been fairly neutral and a little optimistic towards, is starting to wear thin on me. I admit, I'm not a big MZA fan, but Newbury looked like he got more minutes tonight than MZA usually does. How does that make sense? Why is Rupp on this team? Why does Fed/Boyle/Prust get SOOOO much ice time. Why bench Artie in a 1-0 game? He's off to a slow start, but he's also one of our most promising young players. Newbury on the ice is a MUCH better option. Avery belongs on this team over Rupp/Newbury/Christensen all, as does MZA.
