I stood up because of excitement, and sat down with a sense of utter failure.

He looked like he was trying to imitate Jon Jones with his stance when they squared off.

Followed by repeated winding hay-maker attempts that Marchand easily ducked. Subban needs to stop going for the knock-out punch and think before going into it.

I agree, Marchand looked a little more experienced but Subban is much stronger. I don't know what Subban was doing for awhile there, it looked like he was trying to break the tie down and jersey him.

Are they?

I like Brad, and I like Pernell (as a hockey player, not as a player for his team)...I can only imagine the mischief when they get together to share some drinks...

Two of the game's biggest trolls. I can see how they can get along

Yes, I could see that. And somehow draw an analogy between the fight and the war in Irak?

Well technically Subban is more experienced (significantly more fights during junior, ahl, nhl) but I think he tried too hard to make it a show for the Bruins fans and failed.

You can tell Subban was winded by the end of the fight and that's when Marchand looked the strongest. If there is a next time for PK, he'll need to learn that hockey fights usually are fought with jabs.

Anyway, I'll agree with the majority and say that the buildup to the fight was way more entertaining than the actual fight. Needed to happen though, now let them play hockey.

Bad fight? What were you guys expecting? These are not seasoned fighters. Good on both of them for stepping up.
Respect for Marchand for hanging in there. Subban is obviously much stronger.

Entertaining fight.

I like the part where Subban throws him around like a ragdoll. Someone should make an endless gif of that.
