So should Subban. He couldn't have more than a slight edge fighting a 5'9" agitator.

And because of the GIF above.

When I saw the highlights on TSN I was hoping Subban would have connected with that 1st punch, maybe it would have made Marchand's nose a little easier to look at.

Well, I was dead on about them being garbage fighters/this not being much of a fight, not sure about the Subban win though. He had the edge in the fight itself, but it's hard to call anything a "win" after that huge swing-and-a-miss!

Hilarious fight! Subban made my buddy drop his drink on that first drop it was the funniest thing I have seen this season. Pretty embarassing lmao.

Entertaining though. Subban cant throw with any accuracy but had good body control. Marchand landed a few decent ones. IMO it was a draw...if it was MMA Subban would get the win for wrestling skills and body control.......but this isnt mma

If it was MMA they'd be two weight classes apart.

The fight wasn't great but the build up made up for it.

If it was MMA, the "fight" would've been a lot less entertaining.

they both looked fools. we could see subban's much stronger but that first punch made me facepalm and i'm a habs fan, marchand on the other hand was just weak. anyway it was just a silly draw

This.

Everything before the fight was much better than the fight its self.

If anything, Marchand teammates could learn something from this non fight...

-> it's OK not to sucker punch someone when he's down.

besides that, neither should fight again, ever... against anyone decent (not good, just decent) they both would get demolished.

haha I remember that show.

The thing I remember most about that show was this one guy who must have accidentally put his occupation in the "nickname" box.

He was fighting against the "mangler" and his nickname was "the sheet metal worker", it made me laugh really hard at the time. He looked like a tool also, which really added to the hilarity.

Yeah that show is so funny Watching two guys going at it without any boxing knowledge is simply hilarious!
I remember once there was a fight between a small asian guy and a big fat black dude. That fat guys was exhausted and lost it was so funny!

I'm pretty dissapointed. I knew Subban was a hot dog who couldn't back it up, but Marchand was supposed to be THAT guy.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if we had fights like this all the time in the NHL. Let the guys who are involved in all the agitating be the ones to settle it, even if they're star players, and do it clean. Don't really care if the fight sucks, I was still entertained
