So far, Korneev and Grabovski were held pointless in their first game.

Perezhogin and Yemelin did not dress for their teams first game.

In Sweden in the tier-2, Eneqvist had 2 assists and Heino-Lindberg was in goal for Hammerby.

So I quess we are not gona see Perezhogin here this year

No one knows just yet.

Update- Korneev gets the first point of the year, as he picks up an assist on the 2nd goal which was the game winning goal. In 2 games he has 1 pt.

No pts in 2 games for Grabovski. Yemelin hasn't played in either game for Lada, I'll check the High league stats.

Korneev picked up another assist today, now has 2 pts in 3 games. No pts for Grabovski in 3 games. Yemelin hasn't dressed yet, and the Upper league doesn't start for another week.

Also at HF, Oskari Korpikari was rated at 18th of the Top 40 Finnish prospects, the article is on the main page. Their season gets under way next week.

Why in God's name isn't Perezhogin playing? Isn't he "Ready" for the NHL? why can't he crack a RUSSIAN LEAGUE team?

Good however to see Korneev doing so good, I've been liking what I heard 'bout this Kid, real skill man Real skill and the fact that he's Just 20? man he's going to be one heck of a player I hope

Huh, Perezhogin can "crack" a RSL lineup whenever he wants. Maybe he was still in NA dealing with his case with his lawyer or something. Or maybe he's busy somewhere else.

I dont' know why he isn't playing or if he's even in Russia right now. I do know he's officially on the roster, but hasn't dressed yet and I have no idea what country he is in right now. I know that he has a day in court next thrusday the 16th. After being one of the top goal scorers for Omsk as a 19 year old, he can crack the lineup no problem I would think, I would assume it has something to do with his court case but I don't know as I don't speak Russian and it's not easy getting info from over there.

Here's how it looks for our 2 guys in the RSL, I'll be watching for Yemelin next week when the Upper league starts, as he's not on the roster for Lada but that doesnt mean much (rosters can be found at metallurg.ru)

Korneev- 3-0-2-2-0 pims
Grabovski- 3-0-0-0 2 pims.

No pts for Korneev in game four of the season. 4-0-2-2 2

No pts for Grabovski but the boxscore was incomplete only showed 1 goal.

Also no Perezhogin yet for Omsk, but he's still on the roster wearing #17.

Also no Yemelin for Lada but he is still on the roster for Lada although he has no number asigned to him and the Upper league doesn't start till the 15th.

Alex Buturlin is off to a good start with 3 pts in 3 games. 1-2-3 2 pms +1

Edit: No pts for Grabovski, but he did get 2 pims. Season totals- 4-0-0-0 4 pims

Video highlights of the AK Bars (Korneev's team) can be seen HERE. There's one of Korneev's assists up already.

No pts for Korneev. 5-0-2-2 0

1 assist for Grabovski 5-0-1-1 4

No Perezhogin or Yemelin yet. From another board, according to Lada's official site, Lada-2 squad played in some kind of tournament and in the first game against the hosts Samara (3:3), Yemelin scored one goal. they lost the second game 4:2 to Kristal

Another prospects season gets under way. Tomas Linhart has played 2 games in the Czech 1st league which is the 2nd mens league or AHL type league I believe. In 2 games no pts but is a +4 with 0 pims. Good start for him. Plays for HC VCE Hradec Kralove. At hokej.cz it lists him at 187/93, which is 6'1.5 205

Montreal,

Is there any way we can find out if Buturlin wants to come to Montreal this century? Is there a possibility to have him interviewed by some journalists back in Russia to know his plans, because he's certainly, from what we read, AHL material and to keep track of his statistics without knowing if he'll ever come is paiiiful since he's probably the one with the best statistics out of Europe.

I know it's not only up to him but I'm sure he's holding back 'cause he's doing everything right to be signed and why we don't sign him is beyond me. Do you think the next CBA will fix this?

No, I have no way of interviewing him, as I know a few words in Russian that's it, although I do know someone over there, who might do some writing for Habsworld, but I can't setup interviews for someone else. As for him coming over, I doubt it since he's 23 and likely getting much more money then he would in the AHL, as he plays on the top line of one of the better teams in the RSL. Why don't we sign him? Who knows if he wants to come over, he was offered a deal by Savard and he didn't take it, that's all I know. I'd be surprised to see him over here next year since it's too late to sign him for this year anyways.

Oskari Korpikari is on fire in the preseason, with 3 goals so far. (he had 0 goals all last season) Karpat's season starts this thrusday. Mikkola is injured, so this might give Korpikari more ice time.

Also I think Eneqvist has 4 assists in preseason, but it's hard to read Swedish.

No he's not a prospect, so I won't follow him this year. I did see he had a goal in a preseason tournament.

The listed Height/Weight for Korneev haven't changed in 3 years, so I'm very skeptical that they are up to date. I think they just use numbers from a previous source. On the other hand, Perezhogin is listed at 177 cm and 76 kg on the Omsk site. That is different and significantly smaller than I've seem him listed anywhere else. It converts to 5-9, 168 pounds.

On the plus side for Korneev, he has played most of the first half dozen games on the top defense pairing at AK Bars, with Denisov. The team has one of the best, and most experienced defenses in the RSL.

Korpikari was a -1 in his first game and he played on the 3rd pairing. Funny I noticed that Habs '01 pick Victor Ujick is now with Karpat. Habs '97 Mikkola is injured an will be out 6 weeks I think. Here's the roster,

http://www.sm-liiga.fi/tilasto.asp?o...rm=6&stats=70#

No pts for Korneev today. 7-0-2-2 0
1 goal for Grabovski. 7-2-1-3 4 His team won over Korneev's team 2-1.

Grabovski was named 3rd star of the game as well.
