I'm a little late to this thread but I thought the Jets would go 2 -3 -2 for 6 points on this trip............so they have already exceeded my expectations. Hopefully they can pull of another win in the next two.

So the Jets get 8 points on the trip, which seemed like a great success initially. But they gave Eastern Conference opponents 9 points so they come out behind... funny how the NHL works these days.

8 points was more then I expected and with the home games coming up i feel confident that the Jets can stay in the hunt.... I really like watching this team play.

They did better than my expectations (2-3-2) and considering that they were decimated on the defense they did all right. And our losses were by one goal with the exception of the Ranger game.

Overall, it's good to get this out of the way now and we can get some home games in November and the huge home stretch in December... that could be the make it or break it for us.

Man... it's great having a team again isn't it?

I can't wait to head down to MTSC tomorrow night, cheer on the Jets and have a few pops.

exactly....it isnt only about points these days...its what you give to your opponents....in the old days half the league had a winning record and the other half a losing record, so being .500 or better was good.....today, teams that are 2 games under .500 draft 7th overall.

they need to learn to close it out with the lead.
