The beauty of this game is that at the beginning of the Phoenix broadcast the commentator said that 59 minutes wasn't enough last time. Now they can change it to 58 minutes and 59 seconds.
What a great job by Kari to keep giving them chance after chance to win.
Not so sure about that Souray selection so early by Gulutzan.
Daley's move and the path he took in toward goal reminded me a little of Zubov's shootout style. Of course Daley didn't roof it on the backhand, but you take what you can get.
Wasn't pretty. They had to come back, AGAIN, against Phoenix with the pulled goaltender. But they did it. 3-1-0 on the road trip with a 3-2 STARS win in Glendale.
7-2-0 on the season. 7-0-0 for Kari on the year. 2 goals remains the most he's allowed all season. 4 total goals given up to 3 Pacific Division teams.
Coming home, top of the Division! Bring on the Kings!
What a great road trip against some really tough competition. They didn't do it perfectly but they found ways to win. Kari is amazing, Gully makes some smart shred moves, and best of all we've been really good defensively. Have we given up more than 2 goals at all since that Chicago game?
Lmao at listening to Ralph again.. "Daley... DALEY... DALEY!!!!!"
I think Dave Tippett hates playing us with the lead and a minute to go in regulation at this point. How many tims have we ****ed with him in the past 3-4 games alone? That Benn goal last year, and these 2 this year.
Ryder has always been inconsistent, Bruins fans warned us of that when we acquired him. I didn't think we'd see him get moved off that Ribs line this quick though.
Honestly, I think it was that he wanted to continue to roll three lines but wanted a shooter on each line (so all lines had at least some chance to score).
I like Gulutzan because I can usually parse the logic behind his line changes rather than Crawford's "throw it against the wall and see what sticks cause this obviously ain't working" philosophy.

Bingo.
Definitely didn't think Ryder was demoted or anything. Gully has even said in the post games in the past that he wasn't sending messages through line chances.
It was obvious it wasn't working, and he wanted a "shooter" on every line.
Wouldn't be against seeing Burish on that line though come LA. Prior to that change up, Morrow and Ribeiro just did not look at full speed. Morrow more specifically (despite what Razor says )
