Wild player nicknames

What are these guys nicknames?

We knew of Burnsie, Bruno, and can guess Brodz, Hards.

We also have Heater and the Gooch.

Who else?

Of course, Butch.

Are there any that aren't just plays on or shortenings of last names?

Are these just nicknames we've made up or actual names players call each other?

Everyone knows you just shorten a last name and add a "y" and boom nickname created

As I recall, Matt Johnson was known as Moose to his teammates.

Of course, there are Terhaarisms like Big Bear.

pretty my add -y to any of the players first name syllables...

butch-y
powzie
john-y
bul-y
back-y

I think it is way more telling to try to determine who does *not* have a nickname in the locker room.

I would betcha that Mikko is Mikko, or "Sir" to the rookies. Zanon doesn't strike me as a guy who would let himself be called "Zany"...

I'd bet Zanon is just Z. Zidlicky would be Zids.

Really sad there isn't more creativity on their parts .

I like to take nicknames past the point of easy to figure out from an outsider's view.

Lats Domino. or Fats Domino. (Latendresse)
Giraffe. (Scandella)
Ninja Stars/man body. (Gillies)
Dapper Dan. (or just DD) (Clutterbuck)
Repeat Offender, or Killer. (Bouchard)

There's more that I can't remember right now.

And i think Granlund will always be FBJ.

Just usually adding a y or something like that to their names.

Don't know about actual nicknames, like Optimus Reim for James Reimer or Alfie(Captain Clutch) for Daniel Alfredsson.

Could always use Minnesota Fats for "The Big Bear."

you hear them in the background sometimes during press pieces and guys tweets. Burns said of Gillies "That's why we call him Crash" in a tweet.

Bulms = Bulmer.

Scanny.

That's what we need.

Maybe it's up to the fans, because Yeosie just doesn't do it for me.
