Carter was great at the end of last year, and I think he will do great when playing for deboer again.
He was one of few that impressed me after the deadline, and I really thought he was gonna be as good this year. But... I wish him all the best in NJ and hopefully he can play for you the way he did for us last year

Said among...not the.

He's a serviceable 4th line guy, will drop the gloves, throws hits.

Do own goals count as negative goals?

He was rated 6.5 B by hockey's future in 2010. Same rating that Henrique has now. Does this mean Henrique will turn out like Ryan Carter, or that HF always rank other org prospects higher than NJ's?

I think Pelley is going to be gone anyway. He cleared waivers remember? He'll have to be assigned to Albany at some point.

After the Leafs last game, he was first in forwards around the league in blocked shots, faceoffs taken, faceoff percentage, and the 4th highest center in the league regarding hits. Not too mention that 3 game goal streak.

The Devils are fine with this guy.

We don't want him. The Devils have no use for a guy who displays no effort whatsoever and completely dogs it.

Enjoy him in Toronto though. Hopefully he stays happy.

The latter. Clearly, everyone has an agenda against the New Jersey Devils. You hit the nail on the head.

He's actually seventh or eighth so don't ask me, I didn't write the flippin' article! Ask our second year beat-writer from NY.

Neither being 6th on a team in faceoffs nor being 46% signifies good faceoff ability.

Cool. I was quoting an article and trying to be nice by saying he is not terrible. He's yours now. Enjoy.

I'm not faulting you, I'm just saying being 6th on a team in faceoffs at 46% isn't something I would rave about.

Wait, what? You wouldn't take a 2nd round pick for Steckel? This is hilarious, he is a good 4th liner...that's it.

It regards to Carter, it is pretty sad that he makes our 4th line better. That isn't saying much.

Are you serious? Our 4th line is the best we have had in years. If Carter is an improvement, he is a small improvement at most. Im very happy about our 4th line, im sure they are capable of scoring and building a lot of hassle down the line.

Scored his first two NHL goals against New Jersey, the 2nd one was nice:

Solid 4th line energy center. Usually solid in the circle.

Its ok. We don't want that...4th liner who kinda sucks at being a fourth liner...
