Wow, our team is really tough to look at.

I hope for a win, The Avs have a good young team and will be tough to beat.

Yes, Kipper is going to let in 6 goals tonight.

Guy is still getting no love despite putting up good numbers so far this year.

Maybe you're right, Kipper will let in 6.

Varlamov tosses up an eight bagger!

You really take it personally when someone says they think the Flames will lose eh?

Edit: But, but, but Varlamov is putting up better numbers! .. Yeesh.

Kipper does have bad games... he is human ya know.

Regardless, I can see this being either a great night for us winning 4-1 or I can also see us having a rough night and losing 5-2. Depends on how the bounces go.

lol. Go to the Avs board if you don't like the response to your trolling.

Varlamov 6 games 15 GA SV% .929 GAA 2.41

Kiprusoff 5 games 11 GA SV% .919 GAA 2.23

Oh yes, Varlamov is just killing Kiprusoff.

Calm down buddy, We dont need to chase away a rather un-offensive poster for no reason.

My heart says Flames win 4-3, My head say 3-1 Avs.

Game is on both SN west and Flames because the baseball game was cancelled.

I still have fond memories of that one beatdown in Denver last season. That was the day when Forsberg was supposed to make his home debut but he decided to retire earlier in the day. I kept thinking that must have been one of the most depressing days in Avalanche history.

I don't see a remake of that game coming tonight sadly. 3-1 Avs win.

Is the guy that kneed Jokinen still in the Avs' lineup?

Kipper lets in 0.3 more goals per game based on 30 shots.
And Calgary's defence prevents 0.2 more goals per game.
That looks about even match up.

I doubt he is in the lineup. I forget who it was but he probably isn't.

That game caused the Stewart/Johnson trade, the get Anderson out of here dump and bring in tank master Elliot.

So I guess, in a way, I want to thank the Flames.

It was an opinion. I didn't base it on stats, trends or projections.

And the two teams cannot really be compared as they haven't played the same teams under the same circumstances, if that makes sense.

Edit: And those stats/trends can change at any point during the season. (ie. You don't really expect Phil Kessel to continue his pace and score 92 goals do you?)

It seems I always get to see the Avs games. Went to 3 Avs/Flames games last year and we lost all 3 IIRC.

Hoping for a good one. GO FLAMES!!
