I had no issues with Pearn. He reminded me of Clancy Brown for some reason.

Well, PG can't say that he will stick with his coaching staff now, which is what I was afraid of. He's showing that the results are not enough and now he can't use stability as an excuse for inaction.

Good stuff, I guess.

Probably not popular with the players. He was the go to guy between Martin and the players. So this could be a good move.

There already was 3 assistant coach. Ladouceur will get his place behind the bench.

move that has a stench of desperation. What is that suppose to accomplish ? If they're bringing in somebody new for a fresh perspective, maybe... If not, completely useless.

Not sure if this is really a "change" or of signs to be, considering this:

If anything they probably don't see the need of having 4 people behind the bench more than anything.

Randy Ladouceur was the 3rd assistant coach. So he's the new left hand(right hand?) man

Who cares, as long as he's not coaching.

Pearn is the total scapegoat here.

Why don't we get to the bigger source of problems?

The good old ''Tire-Passe'' a-la Brisebois is going to become our main powerplay weapon! That and the ''facepalm worthy own zone blunder''

I would rather just fire Martin (in a week or so). But, hey, if this is to send a message to him, I'm all for it. Never liked Pearn anyway because he never said ''Merci'' on RDS

Maybe they offered him a janitor or security position. He has the stare down pat.
