Grachev was so dominant for Brampton in 08-09. He was running over everyone. Grachev would have the defender draped around his waist and they still couldn't stop him. What happened to that player? Even watching him with the Blues, he doesn't have that same confidence. He suffered a facial/eye injury a few days ago. His two years in the AHL were inconsistent. He plays a few minutes for the Blues or is a healthy scratch.

Another player is Sanguinetti. Fourth year pro. AHLer. Carolina has other young D in Faulk and Murphy in the system. Faulk is playing right now. Carolina also has Jamie McBain who has been a healthy scratch recently. McBain is a good player. Some team should trade for McBain if Carolins doesn't want him. Will Sanguinetti get his chance with the Canes?

I doubt it. Murphy looked great at Traverse. He'll bypass Sangs, I'm sure. It's a shame. I like Sangs, but it just seems he can't put it all together.

Did Murphy suffer a concussion or serious injury on that hit earlier this season? Anyone know?

Just quoting this so the ridiculousness is saved forever.

The last selection camp is Dec 10-14, so probably around the end of december.

It opens on Boxing Day every year! In Canada, for pretty much everyone I know hockey fan or not, it is holiday tradition to watch the WJC on Boxing Day. Everyone loves this tournament here.

I'm at work and a business client of mine had just sent me an email about an issue with a customer in Venezuela, the outlook notification popped up as I was typing my post and I guess I blanked, hahah.

Sangs has never been able to get strong enough, guess its not in his genes. Positionally sound, good instincts, great skater, good shot and hands.... Just gets pushed off the puck too easy. Maybe a few more years of physical development will finally let him crack the nhl, but I doubt it

C Thomas is going to get a fair chance at it for Canada, and I believe Ceresnak will play for Slovakia, unless I'm mistaken.

Other than that, we just have Miller.

Slovakia's junior and children's program has really collapsed in recent years, so it's not very difficult to make their WJC team. Ceresnak should make it.

Kreider on in 7 minutes. Try to force yourself to stomach BC to see him play.

Seriously debating whether or not I should watch. I've come out more angry then before the game when watching BC this year.

They've got some sort of CBS curse going.

Anybody just catch that story related by Dave Starman? He said he spoke to people watching Kreider's game against Yale and was told that Kreider looked like an NHL player against college kids, that's how good he was.

Starman himself also said himself, that at the beginning of the season during the Icebreaker Tournament, Kreider looked like an NHLer among little boys.

Not even cuz it's BC playing like ****. College games are so much slower paced than NHL games. It feels like foreverrrrrr, way too boring
