Gotta say I love watching Jagr in the NHL again. He still has loads of talent and hasn't lost much of a step.
That being said, hopefully he doesn't salute us tonight.
I agree, my favorite part is the fact that Jagr looks so happy every time the camera pans to him sitting on the bench. He has a huge smile and seems to be having so much fun. I wish I saw that in more players.
Anyway, hopefully Philly doesn't come fired up tonight trying to make up for that horrible game last night. GO JETS GO!!
Just WOW on the GDT Hammer Slammer!!!!! I have been really impressed with all the GDT's and this one is up a notch from an already high level
last game I didn't predict an outcome since I was two in a row (Ottawa loss and Carolina win) and would rather stay quite than jinx our team by saying what I was thinking (Rangers win 3-2) but then I went to the game and weirdly called all three goals at the beginning of the respective shifts to the point everyone around us was going WTF (it was an out of body experience).
I will pass on tonight as well (this time it is because for once in four games I really don't have a feel for it) like it has been stated here I hate that we are catching the Flyers coming off a complete mess up in Montreal where it seemed the team didn't show up. I expect them to bounce back "effort wise" tonight but I expect us to play well. I really hope Pav's lights it up tonight but I am concerned about him coming off being pulled and then being sat. Also I really hope Bryz doesn't have a huge bounce back game and begin a trend of tormenting us after what he said about our town
Man it’s cool that we all get to go home this evening and watch Jets hockey on TV.....I will never get tired of that nice permanent change in my life
I wouldn't mind if they tried putting McArdle on the fourth line in Glass's spot, and then slotted MacLean in on the third line.
Exactly what I was thinking.
McArdle and Glass have very similar roles on the team - 4th line energy guys who can drop the gloves. I have nothing against Glass, but McArdle is younger and seems to be a better skater and better offensively (based on his AHL stats).

I liked what I saw from McArdle last game as well. Granted it's a small sample size, but it looks like he is an above average skater, and plays with a high energy level. And that was his first game in how many days?
3 - 0 Jets. Despite being outshot heavily in the third period the Jets seal the win with an empty-netter in the dying minute, and post their first road win, and shutout, of the season. You heard it here first.
This is what I get to see of our GDT with my work filter.. Good Job!, I think...
Haha, sorry Lynk. I'm trying out the "all images" GDT method that Law uses at the Islanders boards. Got permission to use his idea/whatnot and here we are.
Our goalies have to show up tonight...Price played well for Montreal last night and probably won them the game. Going to be a tough game. Jets win 3-2 with a point shot from Buff in OT.
I've got to miss this one today
I've got a chem midterm at 7 tonight but I'm going to try to finish it as quick as possible and hopefully catch some of the game on a stream or listen to it on the radio.
Nice GDT. Why we continue to send out known 4th line guys like Glass, Stapelton, and McArdle on the 3rd line rather than giving MacLean a chance is beyond me. He looked ok in his games and was a +1 overall, sure he may fail but at least give him the chance to fail.
