No, Greene woulda closed on him before anything could happen. Plus it woulda given tie for help to arrive.

Maybe someday you'll understand. the Kings spent YEARS sucking to build up the pipeline - only to give up HUGE pieces of the pipeline for Penner and Richards. what exactly did we suffer for years for if they were going to give up a vast majority of the future for what - a chance to go into the playoffs in 6th instead of 8th?

Not necessarily, Greene had his man. Mitchell steps out towards Ribiero then backs off. Mitchell should have taken him but didnt thinking he was going to get help from a forward.
