Welcome to EHM career game 2.0, this time you can help your player to be better.
how? well with a little help from BGM, I worked out a point system on how your player can get points to level up.
1st year in juniors
forwards/ type sniper
chl = u20 in europe 5 goals = 1 point
Ncaa is 2 goals = 1 point
and real league in europe 2 goal = 1 point
CHL/U20 europe 6 assists = 1 point
NCAA is 3 assists = 1 point
europe 2 assist = 1 point
CHL/U20 5 points = 1 point
Ncaa 2 points = 1 point
Europe 1 point
CHL/U20 5 hits or blocked shots or 8 takeaways = 1 point
NCAA 3 hits or bs or 4 ta = 1 point
Europe = same as NCaa
but you have to pick one at the beginning
CHL/U20 5 wins = 1 point
Ncaa 2 wins = 1 point
Europe win = point
after the 1st year in juniors
CHL, Euro U20 = 10 goals for 1 point
Ncaa = 4 goals
europe = 2
ncaa = 5
europe = 2
7 points CHL/U20
ncaa 3 points
europe 2 points
chl/U20 7 hits or blocked shots, 10 takeaways = 1 point
Ncaa 5 hits or bs, 7 takeaways = 1 point
europe 5 hits/bs/ 7ta = 1 point
8 wins CHL/U20 = 1 point
3 wins NCAA = point
2 wins europe = 1 point
whatever cup the winner of your league gets = 4 points
medal in the olympics/WJ/WC gold = 3 points others = 1
100 point season = 3 points
50 goals/assits = 3 points
350 SOG = 2 points
10 or more GWGs = 2 points
10 or more Sos = 4 points
300 + PIM = 2 points
Making the All star team/game = 2 points
MVP of all star game = 2 points
Trophy in juniors/AHL = 1 points per
NHL trophy = 2 points per
every player type can get either bonus/only league games count (no international play)
point cap is 25 points per season in juniors/before you play at least 10 AHL/NHL games, bonus points do not count towards this cap (also you can still get bonus points when you're in the NHL and achieving any of these goals) You have 4 years to level up, if you make it in the NHL before those 4 years in juniors you get 10 points for every year you missed in developing.
starting point budget is 300, you have to spend 100 in mental, 120 in Technical and 80 in physical.
goalies get less points of course, 150 you can spend 60 in the 5 goalie categories and the rest wherever you like.
You have to decide at the start what you want your guy to be. (sniper, playmaker, grinder, off Dman, def Dman) you can't change it.
I'm not gonna tell you how old you make your guy but either a 90/89 born would be best since the game starts in 2005, but if you want to be drafted earlier you get 10 points for every year not in the juniors/europe/ncaa.
Just booted up my EHM game with the Kings. After 20 years of service and 13 Stanley Cups Anze Kopitar retired as a Top 10 Scorer All-Time. And along with him Sidney Crosby, who retired as the leagues All-Time leading goal scorer with 962. 3 ahead of the previously retired Alex Ovechkin with 959.
The mark should be short lived as long time line mate Bryant Burgess is less than 10 goals from passing Crosby at the age of 34.
