Matt Gilroy also signed with Capitals for 2 years at $2.75 million, which transfers Washington's 3rd in 2013 to Toronto as compensation.

So you're saying you don't have a 3rd in 2012? Which means that you're not eligible to make that RFA offer. At least that's my reading of the rules....

It was a 3rd in 2013 if more than $2.4 million and a 2nd in 2013 if less than that. This wasn't an RFA compensation, but rather a straight up trade for his rights with conditions upon me being able to sign him. So 2012 picks are irrelevant.

PIT wants to know if Mike Duco can be signed to his QO, I have no idea what last season salary was though as its showing as $0.00 now

also, Alex Grenier should be on my prospect list, i traded for him, not sure how he shows up as signed on my roster.

Thanks!

Because he was signed as a UDFA, which we did discuss before making the trade.

Wrong.

The 4 year offer was voided once the qualifying offer was looked at. See below:

You even used the fact he was a UDFA as an argument. Something about "you got him for free" was one of your lines.

So unless Ottawa messed up big time, Jones is in the wrong grouping.

He wasn't listed as a UFA either, so must be an RFA.

Files are updated and I'm uploading now.

Also - ratings are in. Some fidgeting with them within the admin to make sure the ranges are all correct before they're released but any day now and challenges will begin.

Thanks. The sim keeps re-setting rookie contracts on me - I'm not sure why - I guess I should just add the contract in a separate step rather than when I create the player.
