So Krejci, Caron and Paille (and maybe a few picks or a D) for a Star Winger or Defenseman

I see them making a trade with Dallas, Columbus, Phoenix, Calgary or Winnipeg

I see going the Other way if its one of those teams, Brendan Morrow+, Derrick Brassard+, Mikkel Boedker and Vrbata, Bourque+, Bogosian

I'm just using what I think is accurate or around there, flame away.
If it was me, I would rather trade Byfuglien than Bogosian.

We don't like fat players in Boston. We traded our last one.

The 1st thing the Bruins should do is fire their PP coach Ward. 3 years of sucking and the guy still has his freaking job. Every other person gets fired after a few months of doing such a bad job but this dude gets 3 long years and is still getting payed for being the worst PP coach to have ever walked the face of the earth.

Also get rid of Pouliot. Guy is a huge bum who can't even skate but plays on the 1st line

And yes, I do miss Ryder even if he was irritant sometimes.

People scoff at Wideman all the time, but putting up 50 points in the Bruins system as a defenseman is a huge accomplishment.

Lol that makes zero difference in Juliens system. He plays the Bergeron line more than anyone. He was just mixing and matching lines.

2 problems with this idea. 1st you would have to take a scrub that Nash. wants to unload (coupled with the fact that the Lombo trade was with the Leafs, a team that isn't to concerned about cash, which Nash. is)

2nd. Lombardi was thought to be able to play again (which he is), Savard is not.

I know. Not that I am happy with Pouliot, but nobody playing under 10 minutes/game qualifies as being on the "1st line". And there isn't such a thing on the Bruins right now.

I would certainly hope so, Wideman is a lot better than either of them.

I don't see Krejci being available unless his salary demands are out of this world.

They're probably not thinking that big at this point, maybe someone more along the lines of Peverley with Whitney being probably the best guy on their radar (and probably not going anywhere yet). An upgrade on D could be looked into but one of their defensemen would have to be going out.

I don't think they expected Pouliot to be this bad, and the troubling thing is he's actually working pretty hard and playing the body.
Yeah I think they'll stick with the 3 scoring C's as well, from what I've heard Krejci isn't looking for too much at all, he's being very reasonable with his demands. I think he'll probably end up with 5.5-5.75 which is fair for a guy like him, considering contracts signed by Stastny, Plekanec, Toews (Krejci and Toews were both the best forwards in the Playoffs, Krejci has only 1 RFA year on his contract and Toews had 4) etc.
Do you really think they'd trade Peverley right away after resigning him? I could see something working with the Habs but of course thats always a longshot. Maybe something involving Kostitsyn and Boychuk and Caron. I'm not sure how high Bruins fans are on Caron so that may be way off but those pieces could be enticing. How bout Hall Gill for Boychuk? Simply because I want to see a 13'4 D pairing on the ice.

I'm not sure what they can do. The only trade worthy assets are considered part of the core. The non core players are crap and won't fetch anything. Boston's prospects are questionable so certainly you could go down that road, but I don't see teams giving up a bunch for Caron or Hamill at this point.

I would suggest the following
Evander Kane - Caron, Boston 1st 2012

Flames would be interested in Bergeron or krekci.

How about krekci for bourque?

No thanks, we have no use for Hamilton or Caron, we trade iggy and we need top 6 forwards who can jump in now. Plus kipper still has at least a few more good years in him so rask would just be a bench warmer like he is now. Start with bergeron + or iggy for seguin straight uzp

Come on, That is just not true. The sooner you face the fact that the Flames are a house of cards that is waiting to fall the better. Hamilton and caron for that matter would be great pieces in a rebuilding Calgary team. I would however add a 1rst round pick to the original proposal. And Rask will be a solid goalie and could play many games starting this year.

Oh and before you say the habs are a house of cards team as well. Well, yes we are. But we have many promising prospects.

They would need to move thomas before thinking about something like this. Rask will never be as good as Rinne IMO. However, the deal is bad for both teams. The Bruins need lucic more than they need rinne right now.

No need for either team. Rask is our future and Rinne has been rock solid for Nashville. Lucic has been one of our players who seems to be untradeable at this point even with his ups and downs.

A trade I do like that was mentioned is acquiring Evander Kane based around a 1st and Caron+ maybe another prospect or pick since he wants out of Winnipeg apparently.

He said that the rumors were not true. But it would take Caron+ Marchand/Kelly/Peverley to get him IMO.
