I hope the whole post was sarcasm (which i also believe) because that is exactly what a great rivalry need.

See Red Wings/Avalanche for example, the great rivalry they had started with a vicious hit by Claude Lemieux on Kris Draper.

Lol, not sure how Price/Thomas ''fight'' is more memorable than Canadiens coming back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Bruins in 2004.

Poor made list.

All rivalries are fueled and maintained by a single factor: playoffs.

Why do I think a Bruins fan made this list.

Seriously....Out of the head to head history between the two teams, I find it hard to believe that most of the top 10 moments involved the Bruins gooning it up..

TSN made a similar list about a year ago. They have a habit of getting this list wrong.

You guys have the #1 spot on the list and you're complaining about that some bruin made the list?

I think that the countdown was pretty even for both teams.

You thought wrong.

As you said, you're not a fan of either team so how could you know?

The vast majority of the moments in this countdown have the Bruins coming out on top. They even decided to include two moments in series the Habs won (the Kovalev incident and the Zednik incident) only to gloss over that fact.

Considering how one-sided this rivalry is historically, you would have to go out of your way to create a list that looks so favorably on the Bruins.

How about a few Larry Robinson fights? Like when he made Mike Milbury his *****.

Or perhaps talk about one of the most infamous incidents in all of sports, which just so happened to involve these two rivals.

So 3 of the top 10 moments in one of the most storied rivalries in the NHL came from this past year?

Lucic fighting Komisarek?

Ribeiro's move doesn't really have anything to do with the rivalry, could have easily just have been another team. He was just being a dick.

Yeah, I remember it too. It was another all-Bruin fight victory list.

I'm seriously starting to get angry at how much everyone irrationally hates us.

For myself personally, when I think of the Habs - Bruins rivalry, one of the first moments that come to mind is the 2001-2002 season, with Saku Koivu missing nearly the entire regular season battling cancer, only to come back for the playoffs, as he, Jose Theodore (on his way to winning the Vezina and Hart trophy) helped the 8th seeded Habs team went on to beat the 1st seeded Bruins team in 6 games.

That series clinching game 6 was also the first Habs game I had ever attended. I still remember that Theodore stick save at the goal line. Ahh good times.

Until you guys mentioned it I did think the list was pretty even (even though it shouldn't be considering the history favors us) but that said it really did show the Bruins coming out on top in most cases, or getting the "moral victory"

Ribiero was just a damn ass clown. I'm glad we traded him, can't say I liked the return but I don't like Ribs. What a cheap move.

I agree very one-sided list. What happened to great hockey moments like this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtkJQ836Rd0

Instead they show highlights of Riberio or very one sided Bouchard fight?? What about fights like this:

Oh please, Jonathan vs Bouchard at #3?? The Price - Thomas non-fight at #5??? And then they spend about 3 seconds on the 1971 win only to go back to another fight won by the bruins. Horrible list, I say.

Terrible and boring list... Probably made by some bruins fan at tsn seeing how many of those videos are Bruins players just beating our players up... All but two moments are in their favor. No mentions of our comebacks vs them. We have 24 Stanley cups, that's what we call history. Their latest charity cup they just got, had to be the worse team in decades to win it, I have ever seen. Lame video.

How about you not knowing anything about the rivalry, because if you did, you would know that this list is a joke. A real list to properly reflect this rivalry would have 9 Habs great moments for 1 Bruins moment, because Habs totally dominate this rivalry...and its not even close

Brawl in the hallway and the Chara hit on Pacioretty are top-10-worthy moments, as well as the #1 moment. But there ought to be some actual hockey scenes in the other 7.
