I'm pretty sure both teams say no. Bergeron has been doing it all for the Bruins since the age of 18. PP, PK, selke nomination, has won the Cup, fan favorite etc. As for Callahan, he was just named Capitain, and he'll be part of the core for many years to come. Also, I don't see why Boston would have to add anything.

Neither team does it.

Boston is content with Bergeron, Rangers are content with their new captain.

Besides, both are in the first year of their new multi-year contracts, they won't be traded anytime soon.

Neither team does it, but value is very fair.

I would actually think NY would have to add, not much just like a mid pick is all, but good value. That said neither team does it.

Both players simply have too much significance and positive impact to their teams to be traded. Bergeron will likely be the next captain in Boston.

Im not sure if you've seen the Bruins play in the last few years but Bergeron is pretty much Bostons best all around player. This is the 2nd thread you've proposed he be traded so I'm not sure if you now whats going on in Boston.

Bergeron is most likely the next captain and has been with the the team since he was 18

Boston has to add? If anyone is adding to this it is the Rangers...

It's not horrible, but I think Boston loses out. Not by much, but by a small bit.

I'm not sure why people think the value is fair. I'd say NYR would have to add to get the value fair. I agree neither team would do it though.

Bergeron is the most important forward on the Bruins. They won't move him, he is worth far more to them than he would get in a trade.

NYR runs away laughing and Boston stays and starts crying and probably and kills himself

I am only going to say this once, Krejci, Bergeron, Seguin Horton, or Lucic are NOT on the table.

Except it's more like Coke vs RC Cola.

I disagree. If this lackluster play continues I expect a change to be made & if the right offer came along I fully expect Krejci & Horton to be available for the right deal.

Yeah, I mean why use a 107 game sample when you've got a 9 game sample instead!...

You keep saying this in many threads. You also include Ferrence, McQuaid, and other players that are trade-able as "untouchable". Not all of those players are untouchable.

Thanks Peter. Can you explain why Horton isn't on the table?

As for the original deal? No, need or desire to trade Bergeron. Something around Krejci for Callahan might make a little more sense. Krejci, Pouliot for Callahn, Wolski and a 7th dman type?

Not sure I'd do it but I just don't think Boston trades Bergeron over Krejci.
