Randomly browsing Google led me to this. Looks like a mock-up of those white Aeros jerseys. I really hope this becomes part of our actual jersey repertoire.

Are we allowed an alternate home and an alternate away? I thought it was home/away/alternate ?

Pretty sure its this. Why don't we just get good, get a winter classic, so we can have a winter classic jersey? Easy enough.

Not a Detroit fan at all, but I've loved that Winter Classic jersey since I first saw it. Recently I was at my alma mater, and they sell a hockey jersey that is nearly identical. I wanted to buy one so bad, but they were out of my size.

I'd like to see a St. Louis Blues Winter Classic jersey. I think they'd be able to put together a pretty nice one. Just a feeling, though.

I know it's an old thread, but I was searching the forum for some info on some work on a jersey I got and found it. So, I figured a bump wouldn't hurt.

Anyway, while I know it's a bit of homerism, my Alma mater's old jerseys - the ones America's greatest coach ever, Herb Brooks wore - are straight up sickness. I don't care what anyone says. And if you know anything about MN HS hockey you have no choice but to pay homage to the Governors - the (small) area produced more USA Olympians than any other neighborhood in the entire country:

I also don't hate our reds as much as some of you guys.. reminds me of old time hockey, not Christmas. I think they could use a re-tool though, and maybe our new aways will be similar design to the reds? My impression of our uniforms will be much better when the away matches the home.

What I am hoping is this year they announce the new aways with a spiffy new design, and next year they introduce new homes with matching spiffy design, and just chuck the reds out the nearest airlock.

Nice jerseys. When I was in high school we would play Johnson for the Golden Skate each year. Was always fun to go and play hockey in the hood. That was an actual slogan of theirs not too long ago haha.

Haha, yes it was. "Hockey in the 'hood," LMAO. Moose or someone over there came up with that. Yeah I've been to Canada on various teams to play your country's teams.

I won't go into the plight of the program at this point, but suffice to say it's in terminal cancer stages, methinks, although Moose will do any and everything to keep it alive. Two years ago Jay Dickman led the entire metro in scoring with a conference that had a couple teams that were top 20 in the entire country, and he is playing Juniors right now - two other kids from that team as well - but I honestly believe that may be about it. Well other than Sam Moberg (who started on Dickman's team as an 8th grader in net) who will probably go DI in a couple years and maybe pro, I fear they are over.

I digress. Get me started on our history and I go off.

I've always thought those jerseys were awesome. Although they are similar to the SCSU ones, which I rank right next to them. Not sure which one came first though two of my all time favorites

Anyway, sorry about talking about my school. I won't go on about them anymore. the MSHHL forum is better suited for that anyway. Slipped my mind.

Back on topic. I think the best current jerseys in the league are the Winnipeg Jets

All time are easy ones for me

Whalers
Nords
North Stars

Second tier

Flyers
Isles

New jerseys being unveiled today by both Carolina and Dallas.

I'm interested to see both but I really want to see what Carolina is doing.

Teasers:

Is that a tease? I don't know if I've ever really been a fan of the huge swirl thing, although I do dig their colors. Red and black works good.

Yeah, it's a tease. I believe their new jerseys are going to be unveiled 11am CST today.
