That's still speculative. In the post game interview Nabby said he was fatigued and had lower body issues. Islander fans (not sure if they were being serious or facetious) suggested that it may have been an intentional move by Capuano because DiPietro is a better option for shootouts than Nabokov.
Whatever it was, I hope it wasn't serious and really want to see him play.
