Four divisions (think Patrick, Adams, Norris, Smyth), two with 7 teams, two with 8, divisional playoffs for the first two rounds like in the good old days.

Personally I like it. Playoffs are where rivalries are born, stack the deck.

DP stunk on the 1st goal. He was in proper position for the 2nd, he just got beat.

Thanks. They should do a schedule like they do in baseball, where you play the teams in your own league and then you play one division in the other league and it rotates each year.

And why is it a ridiculous comparison? They both have given up 2 goals. You just chose to say the Islander goaltender is worse because you hate the organization. Every single post I see from you is negative. I never see you posting when we win. You wait for losses to come out and ***** about everything.
Well then you really are not paying attention. I had plenty of positive things to say when JT turned into Superman for those two games. DP is not a good goalie, how many more years will it take for you to see that? I do not hate the team, I just will not live in fantasy land about them.

I'm rarely one to give Ricky a pass on anything, but I'll give him one there - no way he should have been facing San Jose's powerplay 10 seconds into his first game. He has looked pretty good tonight.

I've noticed him making too many crap passes, like he can't wait to get rid of the puck. Have some confidence and carry the puck, son!

Never said DP was a good goalie. He's having a solid game though.

And thats coming from someone who mocks him as much as anyone else. (see avatar and username)

I like the conference realignment plan but I just have some reservations about uneven conferences. Would be much better to wait for 2 more teams imo.

I have never seen you knock him. Unless Nabby is out for awhile, this 3 goalie system will not work out. I would rather just go with Nabby/AM.

Until Phoenix, St. Louis, Dallas and the Islanders become sound financially, it will be years before the NHL adds any teams.

Up until tonight I agree 100%, but tonight I feel he has played his best game, and has made some nice passes that has gotten the us setup in the offensive zone. Does he have a long way to go before he is where he should be at this point in his development? **** yeah, but he has not looked terrible tonight.

What was that Tavares was using on the bench? Some sort of inhaler?

Totally off topic. Casey Cizkias scored 2 goals tonight, his first pro goal and the game winner with 19 seconds left. Congrats Casey!
