Canadien(s) invasion

Everyone's favorite obnoxious Habs fan (Dryden) will be making the trip down here for the Montreal game on Nov 12th. While you may not like his board personna, he is genuinely a good guy. I will post where we will be meeting up on Friday if anyone wants to join us.

Dryden and I have had our many, many differences in the past, but I hope he enjoys his time down here. I will say this. The guy is true to his word, and differences or not that speaks to solid character.

if I could get down to buy you a beer I would, Dryden. (or whatever beverage you prefer if you do not drink)

We had a good time with him last year at The Flying Saucer. Where we going this year, Diva?

I'm thinking Blackstone because there is no smoking there. But I am open to suggestions.

I'm going with this one. Blackstone pre-game. Flying Saucer post-game. If he doesn't like beer he cannot be helped

The Shepherd's Pie is awesome, but let it cool before you dive in. Also, the Blackstone APA (American Pale Ale... very hoppy) or Nut Brown Ale. Or both. Great beers.

Enjoy your time here, but I hope the game doesn't go your way

Gave Dryden the wrong section, we are in 115 not 116.

Round two of the jersey bet is also on. Loser wears winner's jersey around downtown afterwards. And this diva does not want to wear horizontal stripes.

My jersey is the #4 Newsy Lalonde one I had made up. I like to have a player from that team on my centennial jerseys. That sucks about having beer poured on you in Van City they are just thugs . I also wouldn't call american beer good beer lol sorry I just couldn't help myself I had to knock the coloured water you guys have as beer.

Important announcement

The border crossing took longer than Dryden anticipated. He and his dad are not likely to make it here before 11:00 pm so the get together at Blackstones will not be happening. I will be there at nine just in case folks don't see this. I will post more info about any get together before the game tomorrow. Thanks!

Yes 3 hours to get across the bridge in Sarnia into Port Huron was a little longer than anticipated for a Fri and Rememberance day at that. Then to top it off getting onto I71 from 75 in Kentucky is down to 1 lane most of the way down to Louisville ugh can this drive get any worse.

Be careful. It could get a lot worse. Especially if you're still in Kentucky
