I just don't get it. I used to love Vermette. He had skill, hustle and drive. He really wanted to win. What happened? Not only can we not develop our youth, we can't develop our veterans either.

There is none. Howson and Arniel should both be canned.

Has the blind backhand pass from Vermette ever worked?

With Johnson - Russell - Clitsome - Moore on defense for an extended period, you'll be lucky to win alot less than that.

I've basically tried to watch very little of the Jackets tonight, they are doing nothing but kill my Buckeye buzz. I see that maybe the goaltending isn't as big an issue as defense, huh?

Especially since we are on pace to win something like 8.

Moore has established himself. Note to Arniel, make this year useful and make our top 4
Tyutin - Wiz
Methot - Moore.

30 games? More like lucky to outperform the 74-75 Caps. 8-67-5

The Taste Greatness moment hasn't happened yet, Rims and Davidge. It will happen when the game ends.

... although at least you didn't homer it and gave it to a Blackhawk.

I just got home and witnessed our defense give up two soft goals. I don't know how York has played tonight but in the short time I have seen this game, he has been left out to dry. We need defensemen. And players who can score goals. Two goals a game will not cut it. The time for patience is over. We are over a tenth of the way done with this season. Changes need to take place NOW.

When we trade off pahlsson, vermette, russell, and cliitsome at the deadline we should call up atkinson, mayorov, savard, and goloubef.

I don't think York is any better than Mason, I think it's Dekanich or bust.

I expected Martinek to be better than he has been. I am surprised Clitsome has taken such a step backwards. We knew going in Russell was going to be a problem. And Aaron Johnson is well, Aaron Johnson.

I blame Howson for the roster. I blame Arniel for not stapling Russell's butt to the press box a LONG time ago.

Not that it's gonna change the outcome of this game, but that looked like a distinctive kick.

It was, but he blew the clean goal or he wouldn't have had to kick it in.

Both look like minor league goalies in over their heads.

That said, I can't think of a single NHL goalie who can stop wingers left all alone on the doorstep.
