Shots were close, faceoffs were close, score was close. All in all, it could be chalked up as a solid road game.
Tough loss to take, but, I think we're in for plenty of these types of close games. For most of the season we haven't seemed to be able to muster up enough offense.

The Jets played much better than they did against Philadelphia. They had trouble making clean passes for a lot of the game, particularly between defensemen at the point, but that improved over the course of the game. The 3rd was great.
It came down to penalties. For them to outplay a very good Lightning team five on five is a good sign for this team going forward.
Our goalie stood on his head and was the second star. Where are the haters? Oh yeah, he didn't move fast enough on the goal. I guess the only way he will get respect from some around here is if he kicks out rebounds into the other teams net.
Buff still made some glaring bad pinches, but it looked to me like he dialed down the cowboy just a little (which is nice to see). I didn't see him behind their net nearly as much as previously.
Bogo and Stuart had another nice game. Even Oduya and Jones weren't too bad.
Kane/Antro/and Burmi generated a few chances, and the GST line did their job again. A few bad penalties from Glass though. Still need more from Ladd/Little/ and Wheeler. although I thought Little played one of his better games tonight. Liked to see him aggressive with the puck.
All in all, we have to be happy with the effort tonight. Our guys battled right to the final whistle with a flurry at the end. Nice to see that kind of effort.
That was a solid road game tonight. I'm pissed about the loss but was pleased with the effort from everyone.
I hate to nitpick because I like Pavs and he was good tonight but he seemed really slow to cover the post on Lecavalier's goal. He had plenty of time to get over and he just looked really nonchalant doing so. Pavs looks slow to me, whether it be getting back up into the play after giving up a rebound, or covering the post tonight, etc. I think that he's a better than average NHL goaltender and we need him playing well but his movement seems sluggish. Anyone agree?
