I think you're misinterpreting what MasterDecoy said. My take was that he meant it was a close game, and not to fool ourselves that we 'schooled' them in some total domination exercise. Never seen a team whine so much to the media in my life. They treat a microphone like it was a therapist's couch. It explains a lot about their mindset and that of their fans, though.
Brad Marchand will learn to shut up sooner or later. He's made so many dumbass comments in his very short career... If Lucic is such a tough guy, maybe he should leave the stick work and after-the-whistle shenanigans at home. I've never seen a guy so fond of punching from behind in my life. For someone who's supposed to be one of the most bad ass guy in the NHL, he sure loves to sneak up on his opponents.

Lucic's words to the referee as he was sent to the penalty box:
"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!"

Amazing, isn't it? So many Bruin fans are upset with the penalty calls against them, but only a few admitted that all Lucic/Ference/Horton had to do was NOT hit someone.

Bruins are exactly where the habs were last week.
Time for the Bruins to
1. Fire an assistant coach
2. Bench Thomas
3. Make a garbage trade

For all the whining they do about PK at least he doesn't go to the media and cry about everything they do and say to him throughout the games. Marchand should learn something from his "friend".

Maybe the fact that they got away with so muych garbage on Thursday(Thornton taking runs at everybody late and stick out the leg to trip an opponent, Lucic taking swings at guys in a scrum and no call) makes them think that they are above getting penalities. They had 6 PP's to 2 on Thursday despite being(in my view) the team that lost it's collective composure.

lol a garbage trade? The difference between the 4th line now and the 4th line opening day is ridiculous.

Have you ever seen a Bruins fans say something positive about our team anyways?

It was a minor trade, but so far it was a very good trade regarding the circumstances. I love the presence of Nikolainen and Blunden (not acquired with this trade) in our line-up. From what I have seen, Blunden LOVES to use his body and this is something MTL needed. They seem to have chemistry together. Hopefully they keep this line intact but I wonder who will take the cut once White comes back... Darche?

Interesting stats regarding the TOI in the last 3 games :

Against PHI : 6:25
Against BOS : 6:43
Against BOS : 10:05

Seems like the coach is putting a little more trust in him with every passing game and so far it wasn't a disaster.. on the contrary he played very well by doing his role.

Blunden leaves once Gomez is back. No way Darche takes the cut

I'm starting to see what some fans have been saying about Lucic for some time now...he is a spot picker.

Those had to be 3 of the biggest boneheaded plays by these 3. But lately I'm coming to expect it from Horton and Lucic. The brain cramps these two are having is just stupid.

I would of loved to see Julien sit those clowns on the end of the bench for the remainder of the game for those stupid penalties.

The Habs stayed away from the crap and played hockey. Good for you...

I know and i'm kind of disapointed in this as a fan. Oh well. Just saying what I like right now.

I forgot about Gomez already... shows how much of an impact he has on the team.

I guess he never saw Chara dive

Or this
If I was a ref Carcillo would of gotten a 10 minute misconduct for embarrassing the NHL.

To be fair, was this in Boston they likely wouldn't have gotten a penalty. Can't blame them when they get away with it the vast majority of the time.

Wait what Did Lucic say those words for real?
If so we are starting to see proof that Boston had an advantage of refereeing last year. Having Jacobs the chiarman of the board of governors and Bettman's boss and daddy Campbell in charge of refs has advantage's as many have thought.

Personally, I'd take Blunden over Darche. I'd love to see a White, Blunden Nokelainan line.

But... Darche will not get the cut, maybe healthy scratch but that's about it.

Great win!
However, I'd just once like to see a 'kovalev-on-tucker' type hit (you know the one!) on Horton and Lucic.
Those two knuckle-draggers are starting to really tick me off.

They put in a rule about gooning it up at the end of games. Julien flouts it regularly and gets away with it. Why? Seriously, it's so obvious it's bizarre that both the league and media simply pretend it's not happening.

Why.

Habs can keep 23 players on the roster. Right now they have 21 healthy ones. Even with markov back, they can still keep him in Montreal.

As for Darche. he is doing his job too. Who was in front of the net when Pleks scored yesterday ?

Gomez is the one that doesn't fit anymore.

Who's gonna do it ?

Tucker was like 5'10 and Kovy 6"2

Blunden doesn't look bad at all, if they try sending him down some team might claim him this time.

True about the roster places. In this case I just mean Blunden is the healthy scratch.

Darche will stay in the line up over him. He's a vet too.

Nah, Lucic and Ference tried getting a little overly aggressive and got a penalty each for it.
