The good news when all the Norwegians fail to make the NHL is that we're gonna have a very very solid rooster for the WC. Poor Danes, they are a victim of their own success in that respect. With Thoresen, Olimb, maybe Zucca, Holøs, Tollefsen and maybe even Vikingstad all being eligible they can go really far.
And there are some new young aspiring prospects on the way up as well.
Volden is actually getting some minutes for Blues. Haugen doing good in the Belarusian league witch is not all that bad. Haga as made his debut in SEL I think. Winkler seems to get the hang of it finally. Olden doing better that last year in Erie Otters. Nicholas Weberg had a good start at Yale. Kristiandsen about to sign for HV71along side Ask and Trygg. Frøseth back on track. Better depth then ever. Including the young defenders, if nothing else being a year older.
For Norwegian media success in the WC in Sweden would bring attention, and also some attention from the scouts in the NHL.
Maybe T Kristiansen and Ylven should be the next in the AHL / NHL. Seems to match the frame they are looking for
