Best thing for the Jackets is a Ducks win today.

I can never root against the team but there is nothing that suggests that this team will come to play today. Lose today, fire a few people, send RyJo back to juniors and start planning for next year.

They'll win today just to frustrate us and prevent the team from getting what it needs, a real housecleaning.

Girlfriends are pretty cool for watching this train wreck of a team with us, never wondering aloud why we waste our time banging our heads against the wall. Plus the sexy time!

Announced attendance? I'll go with 7,329, but only because it's Sunday and not Monday.

Quebec City would get the team before any Toronto suburb.

Do you think the league's priorities go Quebec, Hamilton, and Kansas City? Or is Hamilton not even in line at this point?

What's odd though is that it looks like it's going to be a decent crowd from the Ticketmaster website. There's a few seats in each section showing available, but most seats are shaded as unavailable. Based on that, it appears they may have around 15,000 or so. Of course, they are also providing free tickets to kids 12 and under who attend in a costume with a paying adult.

I'm kind of indifferent about this game. False hope or more suckage. Players are probably feeling bad for getting this coach on the hot seat, so we'll most likely see a game like the Detroit game at home.

Then again, you just never can tell.

Fyi... Nationwide giving away free tickets to employees (said it was a perk of new ownership arrangement)... so I am expecting a good crowd today!

i think i would get satisfaction from my girlfriend's happiness with a ducks win and one step closer to desperately needed changes, but i cannot cheer against the jackets.. not yet.

this game is win/win

Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan and company take us behind the woodshed, 4-0.

Prayers and best wishes for you and Julka, mt.

DSL and our hockey crony will be diagnosing this mess from right behind Scott Arniel.

Hate to get any hopes up but in recent history Ducks have been terrible when it comes to playing slumping teams.

Best of luck tonight and in getting your franchise turned around.

While I understand your logic, I can't bring myself to cheer against the Jackets.

Plus, I'm going to be selfish and cheer for a win as I am buying pizza tomorrow for the kids before they go trick-and-treating, and I want to cash in on Papa John's CBJ Monday deal.

Jackets 6 Ducks 3.

Rebuilding is postponed, but the Nanabijou kids get 12 free toppings on their Papa John's pizza before their annual sugar rush.

(It will be fun trying to come up with 12 toppings that the kids will eat).

Sorry, I can't cheer against the Jackets. Don't have it in me. But I do wonder what the count will be for fans with this on their heads

Sunday games always have a slightly earlier start time than normal.
