You know what is the most frustrating to me about this team? I know it has been said that this is the "best" team we've ever had, and that is why their record is such a disappointment... but every game I've seen since I've come back, I have been impressed at just how much better this team is at the "little things" than all the previous Jackets teams. I honestly don't think it would take too much more to make them into a good NHL team; perhaps even just a change of attitude? I mean obviously a few "better" players would help, but with the payroll as high as it is already...

I think so; the jrs can't do much for a player of his quality. Contract is an issue but he seems to be gaining confidence at the NHL level and there isn't much pressure on him under the current circumstances.

This time out is actually a smart decision by Arniel.

Thanks guys, I just claimed him in my keeper league. Dumped a pretty ordinary player, so even if Johansen does get sent back to juniors, I highly doubt the guy I just dumped will have been claimed. Good investment for the future I think.

Mason is having a decent game but stop with the sugar coating Rimer.. it's one game.

As Mason goes, so go the Jackets.

True, but do you want the alternative?

Well I missed two goals due to a family dinner. Have to go back on the DVR and watch those. I hope this win doesn't necessarily quiet the firestorm surrounding the team. One win does not make everything right.

No, it doesn't, I do hope that they turn it around.

Maybe next month can be the opposite of last November. Then we can put the paper bags away.

Thank you Moo... it was a good win, Mason made it happen with decent play. Perhaps the rest did help him? But I've watched this guy for three years now, lets see how it goes over the next 4 or 5 games..

Good win ( I know some will be disappointed) But I thought the Jackets played well. I was impressed by Moore, Wiz, Mason and Johan. Let's hope that Direct TV figures their deal out with Fox so that I can see the game on Thursday

Can we get a mental break from Rimer and Davidge?
