Anybody know if there is going to be a delayed puck drop on this due to the celebration? I wake up to watch the games right before I go to work so i want to get as much sleep as possible.

Fun Fact:

The 92-93 Islanders were 3-3-1 through 7 games to start their season. Too bad these boards didn't exists back then. That team would have been written off as well, especially after missing the playoffs the previous two seasons.

Anyway, these current Islanders could sure learn a lesson or two from tonight's guests of honor. Time to break the losing streak. Let's Go Islanders!

Sharks are huge and fast.

DP is in net.

Odds of getting a point out of this game......1-50. And only if Sharks are worn out after the Wings game and complete look past the Isles as doormats.

"Broken" between the pipes... Uh oh going to be a long night. I say SJ "mails it in" after playing DET so they only win 4-1... But we outshoot them 29-14. "Broken" makes 10 saves and allows two softies...

I'm assuming DP starting is official?

Its good that he's got a start.

We need to see what he is capable of.

Isles 4-2 on an empty netter. DP makes enough saves to keep the faith.

4-1 SJ, the first line is huge and skilled, our defense can not handle those type of players (good ones). Goal by Reasnor for us

Hey it's snowing on 10-29-11 in merrick. Can't believe what I'm seeing. If that's possible, then DP pulling off a shutout tonight can be possible too. 2-0 islanders tonight.

nice GDT Law! thanks, as always, for your efforts. If the Isles come with that effort then the Sharks will be easy prey.

side note: I am pretty sure if the Isles bring back Turgeon TODAY, he'd be better than Rolston.

Just imagine the Pens board when Kasparaitis was *****-slapping Mario around the ice.
