Player to tv broadcaster

Out of all the players that have tried the transition to broadcaster who turned out the best and who turned out to be the worst. I know Tie Domi was really brutal and I dont mind Pj Stock.

Dave Maley is pretty rough, but we have Bret Hedican to make it up.. He is pretty smooth on the air. I hope Curtis Brown turns out good as he hasn't been bad so far.

i love his twitter. he would definitely make for some interesting television.

i don't like the majority of guys on nhl on the fly minus kevin weekes. they all seem really awkward when talking to the camera.

Peter Laviolette wasn't too bad during the short time he was doing it.

Does Hrudey count? If so, Hrudey is probably the best in the business.

I can remember watching Tie Domi and feeling so bad for him just because he was so brutal and couldnt put two words together

I dislike Kevin Weekes. Mike Johnson rules as the colour commentator for the Jets.

Am I the only one that likes Kypreos? I think he has good insights and his interviews are great. Its that senile egomaniac Maclean that makes him look bad

Glen Healy drives me crazy, we have weekly hate threads on the Leafs board about him. He trolls Leafs Nation so badly I don't know why he even covers our games

TV/radio-

I like Troy Murray (one of the best) ....Steve Konroyd, Weekes, Crisp.

On another note-
The worst broadcaster currently in the business in my mind is Jack Michaels of EDM.
To go from a hall of famer in Rod Phillips to Richards is brutal.

Denis Potvin for me....and it is not even close.
I watch a ton of Sens games living in Ottawa and I will (at some point in every game) mute the TV.

I dislike Healy a ton but at least he is only the 3rd guy.

Not sure who's the best, but Mike Milbury and that former CBJ GM Doug MacLean are very very bad as so-called "Hockey expert". Milbury likes to make fun of former nhl-er/GM or other panelists but he can't take any whenever people make fun of his past "trades". He gets very offended. Doug MacLean is very bad especially during his early years at sportsnet claiming how CBJ made a huge mistake by letting him go. Whenever a former/CBJ player plays good, he always adds "and who's the GM who drafted him !!". Both are very unprofessional as sports broadcaster/experts

They pretty much all suck except Mike Peca. His ice cool demeanor is a nice antidote for all the dudes that look like they're trying way too hard (Bisonette, Kypreos, McLennan, etc).

I can't wait for Bissonette to get a broadcasting career someday, I think it's pretty obviously going to happen.

I just would like to say two men I absolutely can't stand are two former goalies.

John Garrett and Jamie McClennan.

We get it John, you have predicted the Nucks to win the cup the last 17 years, you love them and every penalty against the Canucks sucks, right?

And Jamie we get it. You used to back-up Roberto Luongo in Florida, that doesen't mean you need to back him the rest of your life and get that stupid smile off your face.

Kevin Weekes is good but he needs to stop being so serious, lighten up a little.

Hrudey is the best, Kypreos is passionate so he's cool.....don't mind him. Millen sucks.

Ferraro is alright just don't like his voice.

Cherry is Cherry I'm in-different I respect him even though I hate some of the stuff he says.
