You do know he didn't make those words up, right?

You have to understand French to appreciate his talent.
There is a lot of ex nhl players/coach in Québec sports channels...

Georges Laraque, Enrico Ciccone, Dave Morrissette, Jean Perron, Patrice Brisebois, Éric Fichaud, P.J. Stock, Ian Lapperrière, André Roy, Denis Gauthier, Mario Tremblay, Benoit Brunet, Guy Carbonneau, Vincent Damphousse, Michel Bergeron, Michel Therrien, Gaston Therrien,....

The worst are P.J. Stock and Jean Perron. The best are, AINEC, Joël Bouchard (last years) and Marc Denis.

I came here to add Brian Hayward to the "worst" list, but then I think calling him a player is a bit of a stretch. Terrible goaltender.

He had a good mask for the time period so thats all that matters.

Terry Crisp in Nashville is entertaining to a degree. He reminds me of hockey's version of John Madden.

McSorley was terrible when he was the color guy in SJ for part of a season. He did say "the meat grinder" a lot.

Weekes has gotten wayyy better since he started; he was brutal in the beginning but he's actually alright now. Ferraro is good, he breaks the game down really well; Mike Johnson is also not bad though I still find his delivery extremely choppy, I'm assuming that will smooth itself out as he gets some more experience.

Domi was awful. I don't mind Kypreos, but he doesn't exactly have a 'way with words'. McLennan is another guy I can barely stand.

Reaugh's use of Cheeky on that Ribiero shootout goal call annoyed me so much that I haven't been able to listen/enjoy him since.

The fact that he's on Versus all the time doesn't help either as it bothers me when color guys talk over the action on the ice, something that Reaugh does quite frequently.

I like my PbP doing PbP (the entire time that action is happening!) and my color guys doing color during the breaks.

I'll throw a vote Jim Lorentz's way though, I really miss him doing the color for the Sabres.

Garry Galley made a seamless transition to the broadcast booth. He was better on his first day than Greg Milen on his best day.

Best of all time is clement, no doubt, then Davidson. Other good ones but not in the same league: Gary Galley, Darryl Reaugh.

Worst: Errey, Weeks, MacLennan

Roenick is the best because he says things no one else will say. Dave Maley is terrible because he seems bored out of his mind all the time. Never saw any emotion from him.
