Game #11: Ducks @ Blue Jackets 10/30/2011 3:30 PDT

Um... not sure how this goes. You post the wrong jerseys and everyone gets mad.... right?

Oh and the monkey... can't forget the monkey!

Damn that monkey is hard to find.

Anywho.... mods please edit to have the remainder of the info... not really sure what its all suppose to include.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Time: 3:30 PDT

TV: Fox Sports Prime Ticket

Anaheim Ducks (5-4-1) come off of a disappointing loss last night after being shut out against the rival Nashville Predators. Columbus Blue Jackets (1-9-1) continue their difficult ways by finding ways to lose after surrendering 3 goals in the 3rd against the Chicago Blackhawks last night.

Keys to tonight's game: With the Ducks 1-1-1 for the road trip this game can be key to determine how the rest of the trip will play out. The big guns have to show up and capitalize on the chances they get. As always, Nash has been a Duck killer and will look to continue his scoring ways against them.

Things to look out for: Cogliano, I feel, looks like he's on the verge of breaking out. He's had solid chances but just doesn't seem to have the puck luck. Will tonight be the night? Wisniewski, the former Ducks defense will be playing against us tonight. Hopefully, he doesn't continue the tradition of former club members sticking it to their team.

Possible line up:

Ryan/Getzlaf/Perry
Beleskey/Koivu/Selanne
Gordon/Cogliano/McMillan
Smith-Pelly/Macenauer/Parros

Lydman/Visnovsky
Beauchemin/Fowler
Sbisa/Brookbank

Ellis?

OT (because it's me and there always has to be something OT): Hope your recovery is going smoothly Mr. Gnome... Selanne please get more points so at the end of the season people will say "Jagr who?".... let's get the win so Canadians will still not respect the noted "sunbelt team" aka Columbus Blue Jackets.... AND SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE DFK THE NYQUIL!!!...... Is this better?

You can just copy and paste the lineup from the GDT I did yesterday if you want.

Go Ducks!

Big recovery game for the Ducks. Hopefully the rumors of the Jackets firing everyone in their organization doesn't make their team play more motivated.

Hopefully Wiz stays true to form and gets out of control allowing our PP to capitalize on his boneheadedness!

I hope they put RPG back together and try Beleskey on the 2nd line.

The big guns up front all played under 18 minutes last night so should be semi rested.

Beauch is gonna line up , and smack Nash into Monday, and the hockey world will erupt in a rage that this is allowed to continue. Hitting?...hitting????!!! ...There's no hitting in hockey!!!!!!

Ducks are dirty...that is all.

Just hoping they come out angry AND ready. Game starts when the puck drops boys.

No more repeats of the Phoenix game (a stinker against a team they should beat after a bad loss) please. I hope they come out angry in a good way.

Let's Go Ducks!

I think we will see a fired up Getzlaf put the team on his back tonight.

3-1 Ducks, Getz a goal and 2 helpers, Perry and Ryan each finish one.

Canada doesn't respect Columbus, so TSN wouldn't go on a crusade. Therefore we're safe against the Jackets.

Lets not play down to below our opponents level again. Dallas, Phoenix, Minnesota, Nashville & Columbus are all teams we should beat and yet we only have one unconvincing win out of those four games so far.

Time to give Hiller the night off and start Ellis in this game? Just no goals in the first few minutes of the game please Ducks.

I think it'll be Ellis. Hiller probably gets the night off so he can take on the Caps.

Also, there is apparently a watch party where you can win autographed Ducks stuff in a Halloween costume contest.
