If we show up and don't get 12 penalties in a period we should be fine.

3-2 nucks with vokoun. i just hope the caps keep it at even strength since they havent allowed a goal in 9 days at 5-on-5. i think neuvy needs a start at home against a WC team on tuesday tho. ive always wanted a clear, decided #1 in vokoun, but no need to overdo it.

Canucks are the more desperate team and the Caps seem to play bad in Vancouver.

I'd be shocked if Caps won tonight.

Unless Luongo is playing his A-game, I think the Capitals have a good shot at winning this. Hopefully the penalty killers are more successful this time around.

Whats the word on the Hammer? Is he just showing his age, and being paired with Green make up for his age related short comings? Just haven't been to impressed with his play to this point.

just from watching his ice time and his situational usage, i dont think that boudreau and mcphee are disappointed in hamrlik. i dont think they are seeing things the same way that you are.

he's playing a lot and in all situations.

Little ridiculous start time for this game, it'll be over around 12:30 or later, Vancouver might as well be in Russia

Well I know dick about hockey so I am positive they see things differently than me.

Reflecting on his play that I can remember, there have been some un-timely penalties, and with an extra man against the Oilers Hammer made a piss poor pass at the point, then couldn't hold the puck in the zone effectively ending the game. It just seems to me when there is a glaring mistake/penalty being made by a defensmen he is usually involved.

Considering his age, should he be playing a lot in all situations? I thought his minutes would be measured to make him last the entire regular season and a deep playoff run. Is Erskines absence a factor in that?
