I guess its a typical 1st period of late. 2nd period resurgence coming and a 3rd period letdown to follow.

Sad but true.

Two periods left to hopefully change that.

They did just come back from a soul-crushing trip from halfway across the galaxy.

Did anyone really think this would be a game they'd win? They're far more likely to rebound morally in the Carolina game.

disclaimer: I also reserve the right to gloat should they turn around and win even though it is less likely than dirt

Right on. Very uninspired play and they should forfeit pay for the day. They are getting outworked, unmotivated, and not even close to playing physical. I know we're going to lose some games and have spells, but to play unmotivated like they are tonight is just unacceptable. They act like beating Detroit was the SC win. Ah boy, here goes Pierre McGuire giving his spill. Hopefully, they show up for the rest of the game.

Someone towel off Cody Eakin after the VS. crew just spent that entire breakdown slobbering over him.

Honestly I just think they have no idea whats going on right now. Trying to figure out how to get the puck out of the zone and take away the slot and while they're trying to do that Anaheim is just flying right by them. Which is what should be expected when you juggle the lines like a three ring circus.

As it stands they're doing more thinking then playing.

Holy crap Eakin as some bright red hair. Never really seen him without a helmut on. Not difficult to think of a nickname for him with hair like that. "Ginger" has a nice ring to it.

I've settled on Flash 2.0. Or the Canadian Flash. Hopefully it will catch on.

Auger was reffing the Edmonton game. Refs tonight are Devorski and VanMassenhoven.

Right. We are the only team that travels. Not like the ducks had to travel and play 3 hours earlier than they are used too.

How are the lines juggled like a three ring circus? Really comes down to Knubble swapped with Eakin. The D pairings are scrambled but reasonably so. No one wants to see Erskin/Shultz.

90% sure Devorski was the other ref in the Oiler game.

It was the west coast trip hours; no we dominated Edmonton, Khabibulin stood on his head; no it was a motivated Vancouver team; no it's early. Ive seen this before, and how this season will play out under BB is clear as day again.

I was talking more about the d pairings. As for the three ring circus that was just hyperbole. I didn't want to settle on just saying that the pairs/lines were juggled.

Yup, Yup, & Yup. I suppose we knew and L streak was coming, but I was hoping it would not be quite this early. Hopefully they wont add to it tonight but if they play like that the remaining 40, the L will be unavoidable.

I hope they score another goal and rough us up, we seem lethargic and need a whack in the head. We play like a bunch of wusses. Least fights in the league, shocker.

Wake up the team and spark a come back eh.
