Agreed but that doesn't. change the brutality of the score. Most, if not all of us expected this game to be a loss during this home stand. I doubt any of us thought it would be this bad.
Expecting? Maybe not. Surprised? Definitely not.
Give the team a couple more games before we cry for any immediate overhaul.
The Flames are what they are and a couple of more games won't change that. This is more or less, the exact same team as last year and so it's entirely fair to expect them to finish in a similar position.
Like I said though, if Sutter was capable of changing the gameplan, the score might not have been this bad. We're not going to compete directly with the Canucks unless the team is rebuilt (note: this doesn't necessarily mean a full rebuild), but we could have made the game competitive if Sutter was a better coach.
/Also, on a bit of a side note, but I just noticed that the prospect scroll bar for the Flames was finally updated.
