Boyce consistently goes to the hard areas and gets dirty. If you watched tonight's game, you some more from him in 2 periods than you did from Dupuis all season. He brings and does everything you want on the 4th. Anyone saying his only advantage is a couple points isn't paying attention.
Boyce is one tough cowboy. The guy had half his nose ripped off last year.

Both Ivanans and Bitz cleared waivers.

Any chance Orr gets picked up? He's still one tough hombre, but he has the rest of this year and one more at $1 million per year. There are some teams that may be looking for toughness, but $1 million just seems way too high when you could've had Ivanans for $300k.

I always heard Orr was a guy that can play? If true maybe someone takes him, but not sure why Burke would get rid of him if that were the case.

I have a feeling Buffalo might nab him. They need more toughness in their bottom six. They've got the skill up front to make up for Orr's lack of offense. Gaustad shouldn't be counted on to provide the grit as he's a pretty good defensive player. Orr will keep others in check.

One of the better scrappers if you like that stuff, but unfortunately took on way too many guys in his first two years as a Leaf. I remember him taking big shots from a Penguin last season and I believe Jody Shelley got him pretty good too. I wouldn't want to see him in another fight, could be very damaging.

Wouldn't mind giving him a shot on the Habs, but that extra year on his contract at 1mil says the Habs should stay away. The Habs have enough money locked up in underperforming vets.

Twice the money...ya ok. And regardless, how is that relevant. Orr was good for the Rangers but clearly lost it after his first year or so on TO. Aka, I'm also glad we didn't sign him.

Avs/Leafs fan who would consider Orr an upgrade over McLeod.

I would gladly waive Paul Bissenett for Orr. Im tired of having a useless goon on the Coyotes.

I would take Bisonnette too, but the Montreal media would probably complain that he doesn't tweet in French.

Can't see anyone claiming him, he's done. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires, there were rumours of him considering it before, this might be the extra push needed

Love what Orr did for the team the last couple years, but it just wasn't happening for him this year. Sad to see the guy go, but his kind is a dying breed.

Thanks for smashing Carkner so many times!

Loved Orr when he was healthy, he added excitement to the Sens/Leafs game, even when both teams were bottom-dwellers.

Rosie pretty much replaced him, but Orr was definitely a fan favourite. The Tebow'ing during the fan's only game was pretty epic, scoring on Reimer

Hopefully he goes to a good team on the West that will give him (more) playing time then he is given now.
