Kadri played OK and didn't deserve to go down. It was a numbers thing. He's barely had a chance with the Marlies so I'd have thought he'd get a chance before anyone else. I understand the move but I hardly agree.

Frattin wasn't producing, Crabb is. Frattin is a winger and so are Crabb and Kadri.

Maybe Burke doesn't want Kadri up just yet?

No offence, but since Kadri has been down with the Marlies, the team offence has struggled. Not saying its Kadri's fault or anything, but what has he done to warrant a callup

kadri potential could replace lombardi the same way.

but not unless there's an injury
see?
Bozak = junk
Frattin = good prospect...should be in the A
Lombardi = ?????? (which is why he was dumped by Nashville)

Lombardi and Frattin are/were dragging down that 3rd line. Bozak has been playing fine as the 3rd line C. Ideally Crabb is replaced with Armstrong in the very near future, and Lombardi somehow finds his game again. He's been playing pretty poor to put it nicely.

right now, Crabb is playing better than Kadri. It's the right message being sent to the players.

This organization is doing the right thing by removing the sense of entitlement with young players that has been plaguing this team for a long time.

Two way contracts have absolutely nothing to do with waiver eligibility. Two way contracts just effect a player's pay in the minor leagues. For example, X player in the NHL makes 500K while playing in NHL, but is on a two way contract, and if assigned to the AHL, only makes 80K. However, the numbers can obviously differentiate.

Waiver eligibility is calculated by age, and experience.

Welcome back Crabb. Stay the hell away from Kessel.

Makes sense. When Armstrong is good to go Crabb will be sent down. Better than again bringing Kadri up just to send him down in short order. Gives Crabb a reward for playing well and doesn't continue to mess up with Kadri finding any kind of rhythm.

Talk to you in 10 games (if he lasts that long)...when you are fed up with watching plugs on the bottom six who cannot score for the life of them...much like last year. Joey Crabb is 29 years old, has been an AHLer for most of his career. In 77 NHL games he has 7 goals...do you think he is the answer? Seriously?

Crabby probably won't clear waivers again after the month he just had. I guess he's going to get every chance to show he belongs on the big club but it may be the last one.

Crabb was the player that should have been recalled.

Don't mind this at all. Frattin wasn't doing anything. Crabbs been doing well so give him a Chance . Kadri will be up in his place sooner or later.

I hope Crabby Joe can keep up his great play. what does he have, 8g 7a? in 9 games? Keep it rolling Crabby

Also, I hope this won't have a detrimental effect on Colborne's play.

One and two-way contracts do not affect waiver eligibility, only salary.

Yup, I don't think they want to bring Kadri up just to have to send him back down when Armstrong returns.

This move is consistent with the "every game is a tryout" policy that Burke preaches.

His NHL salary is almost 7x his AHL salary. It is the same with Dupuis, he doesn't want to play the AHL.

I don't like this... but if it's for 2-3 games, whatever. Crabb is obviously not a long term nhl player. ahl superstar on the marlies= calder cup contenders baby.
