Wow...Anderson pulled 2:25 into the game. Gave up 2 goals 16 seconds apart.

Not usual but you can't disagree. Both goals were the exact same.

Am I the only one continued to be impressed by Matt Cooke this year? He has more goals than PIMs.

He's already shown in his career he's capable of putting up 40+ points. He's not hitting nearly as much as he used to though.

Petry on the Oilers tonight got an instigating penalty + instigating with a visor after Abdelkader hit Paajarvi with a clean hit. Still can't believe we went down 5-3 because of this mistake.

Wow!

Carter and Wiz with only 7 assists between them on the season.

I know that Carter is injured and Wiz missed 8 games... still that is alot of cash doing nothing over there in Columbus... Obviously not what management had in mind.

I would trade Gomez for Wiz with Columbus any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Not worth his price tag but he was underrated here, if that's even possible.

Derrick Brassard healthy scratch tonight...

If Derick Brassard is on the way out of CLB, he will mark the 8th first-round pick they have dealt away in their 10-year history.

If the price is right, I'd definitely take a chance on him.

SeriousFan09 posts here, don't think he's saying he's being traded, just contemplating. Pretty sad drafting they're doing there if these guys keep getting traded.

With so many fairly well regarded top prospects failing there you really have to suspect that its brutal development rather than drafting.

That's a crazy stat...I don't know if it's bad drafting or bad development (I lean towards the latter) but something has to change there.

Sadly, even despite obvious incompetence they'd have had decent shot at making the playoffs if they hadn't been so incompetent with goaltenders these past years. Riding Mason has been a one-way ticket to the cellar.

Thats both.. bad drafting and poor developmental players.. I feel bad for their fans, Columbus is actually a good hockey market, they just need more competent hockey men..

Clearly a little bit of both. I still believe that 2003 was a draft year turning point for every team. Jackets get the wrong guy and pay the price. Will also still believe that Gilbert Brule was NOT a bad pick but a bad development project. Chances are a slow but steady development, if he would have been picked by the Habs, would have been much better. Mixed with the fact that the guy would have needed to realize how to adapt his game to the bigs, and he'd be a solid contributor right now. So they sucked big time at the draft and development issue.

Do believe that they somewhat turned it around since 2009. Believe a lot in John Moore and believe David Savard will be a 2009 draft steal as I had mentioned at the time. Some solid "names" were drafted in 2010. Now....it is possible that they'Ll be dissapointed by the overal draft year. I'm extremely shock to see the non-progression of Dalton Smith. To me, this guy had Kris Draper/Krik Maltby written all over him. Johansen was a surprising pick...but I think he will give some help to them in a short period of time. I was not a Straka fan, would not have picked him myself, but at 55...not a bad pick.

And in 2011, well I liked Jenner so at 37, that's a serious pick. Tyner has homerun pick written over him....homerun or strikeout....Reilly, well as tiny as he is, will have a long way to go....but might be surprising at the end. Ambroz, well we all wanted him.....might be a bust in the end, we loved the size, so did they, will it be enough....But they "could" have been great with the Sedlak pick. A guy I liked for some time.

Anyway, awful picks and development, but could finally see some light....might not be enough though.

Bahaha, Bruins showing everyone how really dirty they are. Lucic and Seguin running over Miller without even slowing down. Classless and cowardly, seeing how they're going for the best player who also happens to be the most vulnerable vs such attacks. Ah, this just keep reinforcing the fact that they won a charity cup, being the worse team in very long time to have won it.

I want to se it. 2 people posted this on the main boards and both threads got locked, while Gionta got a full 40 page thread or something for his "hit" on Reimer. You can't say anything bad about the all mighty stanley cup champ and saints Boston Bruins?

BS.

If the goalie is so vulnerable, than he should not be 20ft from his crease in a footrace for a 50/50 puck.

and nice job ignoring the fact that Seguin was HOOKED and fell into Miller. Hence the 2min minor on Leino
