2 goals, 2 assists so far tonight and above a PPG on the season. He has been a part of the last TEN Ducks goals. Unreal.

If I learned anything when the Canes went to Finland, the answer is:

I wonder whether somebody is keeping score of this stat league wide. Being involved in ten consecutive of your team's goals must be the longest streak in a long while!

Because players from the 80s and 90s were terrible and would never be able to compete in post-lockout hockey, even in their primes.

I think you're right. Who are these players named Selanne, Lidstrom and Jagr? Do they play in the NHL?

Selanne, Jagr and Lidstrom are showing why they are legends in this sport. League getting more skilled, faster and stronger? No problem.

I love him. Love him to death. No one tries harder than him. Honestly after all these years of playing with him, you'd think Ryan Getzlaf and Perry would learn a little something about giving 100% every night.

Every ducks goal in the last 5 games have either been scored or assisted by Selanne. Unbelievable!

I hope Getzlaf and Ryan are getting humiliated by having so many fewer pts than a 40 year old, after yet another gutless performance.

He must now have that much energy then, unless all of the Jagr fanboys cry a lot.

This is just gold.

In all seriousness, sometimes age really is just a number. Yes, the body starts to break down, but he's so committed to training and competing every night, it's no wonder he's outscoring his superstar teammates in Getzlaf and Perry.
