Ok lets just push this out just a bit.
Radulov has always said he won't play for Nashville.
But now what if P.Roy calls him up in Russia??/
" Come play for ME in Montreal"
Playing for Patrick might be exactly what Radulov want's.
Now this rumor starts to really fly.
Gorges and A. Kostitsyn ( to play with his brother again)
For the right's to Radulov + pick and say Colin Wilson
Nashville would never do that... they would be trading a great bargaining chip in the form of a star player who is still on his ELC, a great young prospect and a pick VS two pending UFAs, granted Gorges is great, but he can still walk at the end of the year.
Colorado is one of the last team in the league I would use as a example if I want to encourage big trades considering the fact that they got fleeced in their last few deals. That's like saying "look at Montreal, that Gomez trade took balls we should try something like that!".
How much you wanna bet that's exactly what Gainey & Gauthier are saying...oh wait......never mind.
If Gorges can yield a top 3 winger than hell ya.
I live the guy but we're not rooting for sentimental favorites here. We're here to win and if we can get some offense for Gorges than its something we should definitely do.
I'd trade anyone on our roster if we ended up winning the trade. Anyone!
I don't trust Radulov's NHL ability given that he hasn't settled in Nashville. I don't trust anyone that won't play for a particular organization. It's lame and selfish. We need team guys here. We have enough issues as it is. Talk to me about Suter and I'll be excited. Both Suter and Gorges are in their last year and Suter will get close to $1.5m more than Gorges. Nashville needs the cap space.
Ok lets just push this out just a bit. Radulov has always said he won't play for Nashville.
So where in the hell have you read that? There's interviews where he's said he will play for the Preds. Our GM asked him if he wanted his rights traded and Radulov said no, he wants to play for Nashville. He understands that it's in the NHL Laws that he HAS to finish out his last year on his ELC before he can receive a pay raise. It never was about the Preds not wanting to pay him, they legally couldn't.
I understand you all would like this to happen, but let's not make up comments that he never said.
Habs holding out for Guy Boucher? Yes, I know Boucher is currently the coach of the Lightning, but more than one source has told me that at the end of this year the Habs may approach the Bolts in an attempt to talk to Boucher...Will the Bolts let him? I would imagine they wouldn't want to stand in his way.
He also makes mention of players we may be targeting, but what I want to know is how feasible it is that we go after Guy Boucher as coach. Does it usually happen that an organization targets a sitting coach? Given the Lightning performance this season, perhaps they may be willing to let him go.
The only reason I can see Tampa doing it is because they have underperformed this season, especially considering how they matured and excelled last season. I get that Roloson fell off the map, but to see such a fall in the standings, someone has to get the blame...
President and GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs
On November 29, 2008, Burke was introduced as the President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs
That whole thing was a sham, he was talking to the Leafs while he still had a job with the ducks...talk about a pile of crap, then takes the token two weeks off to pretend to negotiate with the Leafs...no conflict of interest there, hey Burkie...
