Raymond is on the ice with a fractured vertebrae and the Boston crowd is chanting 'flopper'.

When Rangers fan chant ***-hole after a questionable call and some Leaf fans think they were chanting Kes-sel..... Doesn't drive me nuts, but I found it hilarious.

In general though, the Luuuu's on routine saves can get annoying.
To be fair, nobody in the building knew the extent of Raymond's injury.

Um, every time i hear either of those fans bases chant "Ole" its not actually Ole but You're ______. So the lyrics are intentionally messed up. FYI.

This can get annoying sometimes. For example when you are at the game and your favorite team is on the PP and you notice (because you are such an educated hockey fan) that the shooting lanes are blocked, so the team is making quick passes to try and open them up. Then you get some fat idiot next to you who hardly knows anything about the game blindly yelling "shoot!". I want to punch that guy in the face.

However if there are spaces to shoot and the team is passing up those opportunities then they deserve the "shoot" chant. This of course only comes after the team is 0 for 3 or 0 for 4 for the night though.

I know it is soccer culture with much history etc but I would LOVE, LOVE to see hockey teams adopt those soccer songs that the fans sing in the stadiums but done with their own originality of course for the respective hockey team.

Do the Euro hockey teams do this?
Yes they do this.

boy who cried wolf...

not saying it was right, and once they realized he was actually hurt they clapped when he got off the ice...but the antics leading up to that game poisoned people's perspective on pretty much everything that happened there after

also, did they actually chant flopper? I know they booed because they thought he was faking injury (stupid and premature to say the least, but i understand the why) but I never heard that before until now. It's not just about Vancouver either, you can thank Montreal for Bruins' fans hate of diving and embellishing. Hell, there was a big argument started on my own board over one dive Marchand made last night. We by and large hate it, to the point where it can cloud our judgement

I hate when fans do the "gooooooooooaaaaaaaa-lie" chant when said goalie hasn't let in a goal. Or any weak ones.

Seriously, after bad goals only, people.

So what you're saying is that the Let's go team chants shouldn't be used right? After all, this isn't baseball, basketball or football.

As for myself, I absolutely hated when Flyers fans mocked the Olé. I was beyond pissed

It is a standard chant for all sports, so no...

Ole is a terrible chant that is essentially exclusive to soccer and just gives people a reason to **** on the Habs. But, it is pretty funny when other teams mock it. Last year when Boston was winning by like 6 goals, it was priceless.

I can't recall actually hearing a Go Leafs Go. It usually sounds like an indiscernible mess of both Sens and Leafs chants.
