Let me save everyone the trouble and tell. It's all Marty fault basically for every goal and rest playing great. LOL

Really? Penalty for taunting? What's next? A penalty for celebrating after a goal. This is turning into No fun league part deux.

This is a game we should be winning.

Got a feeling it one of those first to 7 win games.
Could get even more interesting with both teams showing their stellar defensive coverage.

It really has been pathetic. This is like a Pee Wee game in the D zone for both teams. Terrible coverage.

He's not writing off Brodeur after one game. He mentioned a certain run he had last year where he went 15-2-1 with good numbers. Made note that he's back from a injury, and looks a bit slow, most people do.

Duthie mentioned how the defense is playing sloppy, both sides.

Larsson has 17 TOI. Kovy has 15. Also, Sal, Janssen, Volch, and Napalm are tied for the lead(in this game) in +/- with 0.

The Devils played very good last period. The offense that is. However they gotta do something when Toronto gets it in their zone. 3 goals on 9 shots last period is not good at all. Marty is a little rusty for sure, but I'm not condemning him. The man is coming off a 3 week hiatus from injury. This whole team is to blame, because every time Toronto is all up in their zone for an extended period of time they let Toronto get the best of them. The comforting thing though is that the Devils have 3 goals before the 3rd period for the FIRST time this season! Yes I know there were 3 goals in the 2nd in LA, but those were either imposters or a ridiculously juiced Devils team. Not counting that. The schedule is not getting any easier for the Devils anytime soon. Even Winnipeg you gotta watch out for at this time now. They gotta play like they did all 2nd period to win this only play like that on steroids. Wake up a little too while Toronto has it in our zone too!

That would be a severe over-reaction, IMO.

And it would suggest that Deboer's team should be playing much better than it is.

In my mind, they are playing precisely to their expected level. Especially, minus Zajac and to a much lesser extent Kid Josefson (no excuse), if they hover near .500 until the New Year, Deboer should get a medal, not fired.

I believe they will.

I have him on ignore but I knew people would be asking for Deboer to be fired. it's a shortsighted, silly, notion that a coaching change will fix things. Don't use MacLean to prove that because Deboer has already been an NHL coach for 3 seasons and we knew what we were getting.

Christ losing makes this place really unbearable sometimes.

Can everyone please remember we're 10 games into the season. 10! not 20, not 30. 10. holy ****.
