Yes and Yes

You won't win many games with a goalie giving up soft goals and you win even less if you can't score more than one goal

It's hard to imagine the Jackets making the playoffs with a 2-10-1 record. Possible I guess but I doubt it.

If I was a fan of another NHL team and they started off 2-10-1 I would have some hope. But I'm a Jackets fan, and it'll take a major miracle for the Jackets to make the playoffs this season.

Firing Arniel isn't solving anything. Firing Howson is a good start. Firing Priest and Howson is far better. Firing anyone else involved in player development is best of all. Clean house. Get a new GM in and let him decide what coach he wants.

No to "Gotta see it live." Yes to "Gotta change the culture."

This season is over. Done. They'll be lucky to finish 13th. The franchise is a disgrace, and I feel badly for those who have so heavily invested in season tickets, regular trips to the arena, etc. Hell, I feel bad for all of us.

What do we have to do to get them to fix our team?

As Moo said, clean house.. I really believe Priest and Howson need to go, replace them with some proven NHL management experience. Perhaps Arniel needs to go as well but I'm not sure he's a failure as HC yet, I'm not totally happy with him though.

He can't do that, only the HC can rip apart the players in public. That said, Nash's face told the story of the season-he's spent.

Like I said, this doesn't feel like a hockey organization. We need to fix this. I don't expect results until players are held accountable. I'm not paid 1+ million dollars but I still have more heart. Not acceptable

Seriously, we need a #1 goalie. We need a goalie to give us a chance. Right now we have no chance. Build from the back to the front. This organization has done bass ackward

I don't know how I am still a fan of the most embarrassing NHL franchise ever. I wish I was a hockey fan before Columbus...

It's like...they suck. Then they find a new and optimistic thing and they get your hopes up...but then it's like...oh, they suck...Just in a new way...

I look at Toronto, and they play the way arniels system is supposed to be played, they have speed, and are fun to watch. I want arniel to succeed , I just don't think we have the Speed and athletic players we need. Nash, umby and prospal, all slow. Vermette and brass quick , but can't score. We better see some trade activity soon, or arniel and howson will be gone, and I pray to god we don't change systems again and go to hitch style hockey. We need a change up top though... Priest and howson need to go. Aggression needs to start from the top

Nash is smart enough. He just doesn't want to pay the price. I'll stop JUST short of calling him cowardly.

Nash is slow? lol what?? And then you say Brass is quick? Brass isn't quick at all, he's an average skater at best.

He's not fat, nor slow. Accountability starts at the top - and among the players, that's the Captain and "star player."

Alright, I may have been saying fat and slow to get a point across...but...damn...he does NOT play like a star player. There are a whole TON of players I'd take before I'd take Nash.

No need to touch the coach and GM. HOwever comma

If you kick Priest to the curb... I predict that his replacement will take a 30 second assessment of the franchise, let out a hearty 'LOL' and then shoot Howson and Arniel out of a cannon.

Back from the game.

I really have nothing good to say about this performance. The only two guys that I wasn't just all done with were Calvert and Johan. Other than those two, just pathetic.

Don't be fooled by 39 shots on goal. I didn't think that any were really top quality. All their goalie did all night was stay square to the shooters, and the Jackets did the rest. Shoot it right into him, no screens, wide, high, everywhere but into the back of the net.

I just don't know what the hell is wrong with Mase. Any average ECHL goalie makes those stops, with the exception of the first goal. How in the hell do you blow three easy saves like that. Just mind boggling.

First thing that I do is send Giroux back to Springy and recall Atkinson. Then I figure out a way to replace Brass, Dorse, Mac, and Bass.

I will say this. Leafs fans are well mannered. Even the drunk ones were very tolerable. Cheer for their team, but are not idiots, and are quite friendly. Pens, and Sabres fans need to take lessons from these people.

The only way I can see fixing this roster is a COMPLETE overhaul, which is nearly impossible.

Only keeping Nash, Carter, Wis, RyJo and Moore, Prospal if he wants too stay, but only on a 1 year deal. (on the NHL roster.)
