Can the Jackets keep the pressure up? Can they score three?
Gus is in net. They're guaranteed to score three.

Of course he's not, but that doesn't mean that he's not the best center to put between Nash and Prospal, right now.

The Leafs will take us lightly and, consequently, it will be close. But we'll have our usual 3rd period collapse. Leafs, 4 - 2.

I have a cold, sore throat, and plugged up ears. Otherwise, I'd be knocking Toronto off my list of teams not yet seen in person (NJD, PHI, BOS, TBL, WPG are the others).

How about a win there, CBJ?

Another FSOhio feed on NHLCI. I don't have a choice between home and away broadcasts for this one. Not in HD though.

Does anybody happen to know what the FSN channel is for Northwest Ohio (Toledo, I assume)? I thought I might watch (part of) this one from the gym. They have TVs, but I don't know what any of the channels are

The feed on NHLCI has half a chunk of the scorebug cut off. I can't see "TOR" but I can see "0 CBJ 0" and the time (when no penalties) as clear as day.

EDIT: And as I say that, they change it to a 16:9 feed in a 4:3 screen. Least I can hit a couple of buttons and make it full-screen, even if it's not in HD.

And Toronto leads 1-0. Mase just crouching in the crease like he's cold as it flies by him.

It's like we believe that reaching for it with our sticks is enough. That doesn't knock them off the puck or disrupt the play...

How is it in the NHL that players are allowed to drive into the slot unevaded? Hit someone!

My thought exactly! How can someone in our sweater NOT stop a drive to the net?

A three on one opportunity and we can't hit the net? Perhaps our motto should be: "Making AHL goalies look good since 2000"

Seems like only half of the team is on board with the "work over skill" so far

Umberger is out-chimeraing Chimera at this point. What the hell was that?
