In a Game Of Thrones, you either win or you die.

Ahh but the Ryan Smyth curse has been lifted! If anything it will be Captain Canada himself, or Tuebert who gets the game winner!

3-2 Oil in a nailbiter.

So after 3 days off and the start of a long road trip they are going to sit their early season MVP to start Dubnyk?

I think it's safe to assume that barring injury Khabby gets the start. I'd say Dubnyk will play against Phoenix and then definitely one of the back-to-back games.

Big game tonight! Can Hall upstage Doughty? Will Smyth(lol) rub a crappy trade in Lombardi's' face? Can Teubert prove he already has more worth than lazy ass Penner? Will the Bulin wall stand tall against the great Kopitar? Will Ethan Moreau go offside 10 times, take poor penalties then get in a fight and fall down before it starts? A night of story lines and a chance to extend our streak to 6 games and go 8-2-2... OILERS!

Huge game! Be nice to start this road trip with a W.

Watching that Doughty hit on Hall...was the head the principal point of contact or did he catch enough shoulder? As far as hip checks go he really missed the body.

I can see this happening.

After the game when the Oilers win 6-1 (2 goals for Teubert and a -4 rating for Penner)

"After reviewing the trade made at the last deadline for Dustin Penner, we have decided to file a grievance with the National Hockey League. The Edmonton Oilers clearly were inflating Dustin's stats, and have misrepresented his value to the Los Angeles Kings and the rest of the league."

"I can't wait until LA fires Dean's incompetent ass."

"...and I got a 1st & 3rd round pick."

That video of Doughty running into the back of halls glove and then going down like a pansy and then whining like a little ***** is really embarrassing. If you stop the video right as they collide, it's pretty clear Doughty is putting his face somewhere it doesn't belong.

Do you hate the kings? I do. A victory would be sweet. Doughty and Richards are both on my "strongly dislike" list. I know they're Canadian and don't care.

Stick it to em boys

Hey!! This is a violation of the site rules. I'm reporting this post. JK

I think one of your top forwards will expose the rust on Doughty's game tonight.

Doughty needs to dial back his game and keep it simple until his timing comes back. And agree on some of the points regarding Drew. There were times when he played like a punk last season. Drew, just shutup and do what you do.

if there is actually hockey gods this game will be close or the oilers will be down by a goal and Moreau will take an offensive zone hooking penalty and the oilers will tie it then win, we had that happen to us a bazillion times, its time for some reparations.
