Don't hit people in the head. This doesn't happen.

The ShannaVideo did a good job showing this wasn't a one time thing. Hopefully Kaleta learns his lesson and stops doing it.

He hit Jones on a play where Jones turned into the wall as Kaleta was committed to the hit. It was weak-sauce in terms of all of his litany of evil.

And he was doing so well playing on the right side of the line. He was a big part of the penalty kill, too. Way to hurt the team, you selfish ***.

Same. Really like the video explanations.

I think they should add a hammer graphic slamming down at the end of those videos.

Not surprised. Has a reputation and it was a stupid play to make.

Well that (the headbutt) was dumb. A little too far over the edge there PK.

His hit on (Giroux?) that came about 4 seconds after he got rid of the puck was an unnecessary addition to his shaky reputation league-wide as well. I was SHOCKED that wasn't an interference or a charge.

That's the first shana-ban video I've watched. I'm impressed.

Kaleta should know better, bullrushing people like that will get you what you got.

Fair suspension imo.

I commented on this in the GDT, and I said that it looked like the ref at our end was going to call him for that, but decided not to because of how late in the game it was and we were trailing. Another one of those situations where time and score dictate what the refs are calling. If he did that in the 1st or 2nd period, though, he definitely would've been going to the penalty box.

4 games is fair considering this wasn't his first act.

It'll definitely be 6-7 if he does it again.

Agreed. I thought Shanahan did a nice job documenting/supporting why he ruled the way he did. I certainly couldn't disagree with the decision after watching the video.

Shanahan continues to impress me.

It's wrong to charge people like a wild buffalo, even if you play for the city of Buffalo!

Shame on you Patty Mouth.

The funny thing about his buffalo charge on Zajac, was that ZAJAC ended up going to the box for 2 minutes and Kaleta got nothing LOL

Unfortunately, he is. He needs to play a cleaner, more disciplined game. Perhaps this suspension will help.

If I recall, the refs arm did go up immediately, but it could have been for icing or delayed offsides? I know the ref was RIGHT THERE on that play - but totally agree on time/situational refereeing being executed at that moment

As much as I hate it. Shanny got it right. Stop acting like a battering ram PK. I hope this drops from Patty's game.

Yea, I was expecting 2-3, but can't really argue with 4. Hurts the team a bit too...
