Finally... I've been waiting for this GDT to say: Ovie's gonna tear **** up tonight. He either kills someone with a devastating hit or gets a hat trick.

Sorry to burst the bubble

but Caps Insider has Green out tonight. Too bad, we play so much better when he's healthy.

It's no secret that I'm not a big fan of Jeff Schultz, but I have to admit it, he's played not too bad overall so far and I thought he was one of our better d-men against the Ducks.

The only Staal I like is Gunner.

I hope OV comes out pissed off, and wipes that sour look off of Eric's face.

Close enough.

I hate the Hamrlik-Wideman pairing, can we change that one please.

Is Halpern dinged up? I didn't think he played poorly at all in the games he's suited up for. I think it would be a great time to give MP some time in the press box so he can recharge and do his spark plug thing again.

Not dinged up. I agree that I'd like to see Perreault sit. Not sure where those lines came from, but they differ from what capitals-insider was reporting. Insider is also saying that BB is being hush hush about who gets scratched tonight (other than it won't be Ovie).

Perreault has been playing very well. I'm okay with staying up here.

I think Cody scores his first NHL goal tonight.

They were awful against the Ducks when paired together, although Hammer was probably the real culprit. He ended up with a -3.

couldnt care much less about ovi scoring, but he needs to inflict pain on someone, early and often, and be in the game. and he needs to play smart.

wideman/hammer = **** off

If they're shopping him, it might be in their best interest to let him sit in the press box for a game or two so people can see the effective version.

If they're sitting guys just because they're old, I nominate Hamrlik.

Wideman was responsible on both goals he surrendured. He completely missed the puck along the boards on the first one and wasn't in proper position to cover Selanne sitting on the back porch on the second.
