Basically, he's looking like a pretty long shot to ever make the nhl at this point. Didn't understand that pick at the time. Granted, Atlanta did have 2 first rounders but still, it was a reach with other good players on the board.
His hands never caught up to his speed and he has suffered some personal loss in the past year that may have compromised his game to a degree. I think he'll eventually play in the NHL, but he'll never justify the first round selection. Players with his kind of speed with at least adequate hands can fine tune their game in the minors and eventually earn a role.
